For the price, my expectations were low. However, this rowing machine was a bargain. Its quality is way up there. Couldn't be more pleased with the machine. It is especially good for a senior. For a young, strong person, they may want more resistance than what is built into the machine. But for an older person, it could not be better.

Wow, this thing is great! It was super easy to assemble and lightweight. It seems pretty easy when you start rowing but it can really make 10 minutes fee like forever.

Great item!

Once assembled it worked as expected. Smooth glide and good tension adjustment. 
  The screen on the device to track your time is all but invisible, but it works.
     It's a good value. Use your own simple tools for setup. The tools provided are not efficient.
   It's only good if you use it. I use it daily.

I like it

I love how simple and well functioning is. 
I am not an active person and I needed something to keep my muscles busy. This is the thing. I put it in front of TV and row until I can't anymore. Then take a rest and hop on it again. I liked how easy it was to put it together and how I can lift and drag in a corner to save space when I need to. Sorry, no pictures of my muscles yet, but I could post one from the Aleve bottle that I need to ease the pain of my body. :) if I could do one thing better, it would be the pedals that I fasten my feet. They are not well made and I hurt myself until I found a not so convenient solution.

Old and chubby's report

Set up was easy, the instructions were simple to follow, and my family was rowing within 20 minutes.  The resistance is adjustable enough for users with less fitness up to adult men who work out regularly, however not bodybuilder heavy lifting. The free app is functional, but the paid app is, as expected, better.  My family looks forward to putting this machine to regular use.

Great introductory rowing machine.

Easy to assemble. It could have had harder levels from beginning to end. 1-16, I wish there was a way to adjust it. level 16 should have been level one.

After having this machine for only a few weeks started having a problem with the seat rollers making noise and not sliding smoothly... contacted their customer service and  it was a total joke I was meet with all sort of skepticism and told I'd have to go through a lot of rigamarole and so on...so I told them no thanks I'll just return it because it was still within the return window and I'd never purchase one of their products again....

Poor quality and poor customer service...stay away

I have very latest Apple IPhone and iWatch. Merach claims the app will work fine with the smart gadgets. However, it does not. I Start rowing with integrated watch and phone app, and within minutes the watch application hangs, and watch cannot communicate with phone app. The machine between the effort levels is not great either. Poor quality
