First, The assembly was fairly easy. I'm a 65 year old lady and did it myself. It did take me 1 1/2 hours but is doable. I watched the video on YouTube and it was helpful.
The bike itself is great. The seat needed a cushion to be comfortable for anything over 10 minutes.
I got it for my husband. He's 6'2” 260 lbs and it fits him fine. I was worried about the size but it was great.
I will say the resistance is minimal. It's perfect for him now because he's rehabbing but he was up to level 5 of 8 in the first week. I think he will be up to the max resistance in a few weeks. It's still great for his cardio and building up strength but if you want something to train on - this probably isn't your bike.
Overall, we are super pleased with the S 08
And the price was great!

Great rehab bike

walmart.com

This exercise piece of equipment is the only one I can use. It is perfect for someone who has back pains.
You get a good work out without having to stand on your feet.
Just RIGHT for an older women.
I had Walmart arrange the assembly. It just took less than 30 minutes.
Last but not least, it is well built, solid and easy to get on and off.

Well Built Exercise Machine

You can't beat this exercise bike for the price. The seat is much more comfortable than other stationary bikes I've had in the past, and that is a definite plus! It makes it much easier to stay on the bike and get a good workout. I highly recommend it.

Excellent Stationary Recumbent Bike

Fantastic value. Ultra low cost. Extremely quiet. Light enough for easy moving around house, yet rock solid when in use. May not offer enough resistance at max setting for seasoned athletes, but perfect range for most people. Highly recommended.

a FANTASTIC product for $170

Great bike, resonably priced, love the display rotating thru readings. All the parts were received and the instructions were very good. Almost perfect, but one of the last steps was a little tricky. Getting the conections into the front tube for the tension dial was a problem at first. The red and black connectors should have attached after the tension cable. The tension cable required losening by adjusting the nut and then attaching. A bit of guess work is required. Once assembled the test is with the tenion/resistance dial (from 1 to 8). Fortunitly ours is working pretty well. If not, it would be a real pain to disassemble and correct the tension. We love using it.

Love it

First, we are older and were afraid we couldn't figure out the assembly. But This bike was very easy to assemble. All parts were clearly marked and all pre-drilled holes matched perfectly.
We feel this is quite a piece of equipment for the money.
We highly recommend.

Buy it!

The MAIN REASON I purchased this bike is because one of the pictures in the advertisement indicated that the bike was good for a person with up to a 37.5" INSEAM. THAT IS AN ABSOLUTE LIE!!! I am 5"-10.5" tall with a 29" inseam, and I can't extend my leg out to where I would like it to be at the maximum extension position (just short of a straight leg). This makes using this bike VERY UNCOMFORTABLE to me. It absolutely baffles me that exercise bike manufacturers don't add a pipe -in-a-pipe as a part of the bottom of the main frame so that the user could easily extend the distance between the seat and the pedals.

Just an FYI...Merach doesn't advertise this model anywhere that I could find on their website. I wonder why?

The seat is the shape of a home plate in baseball, (except the point is rounded). When I move back in the seat to extend my legs further...the backs on my thighs right below my buttocks rub terribly. This wouldn't be an issue IF the seat could be moved back further.

The seat has very little cushioning. How much can it cost to add a decent amount of foam padding? Jeez Louis...come on.

The PULSE meter is a joke. Only way I could get it to work anywhere close to the heart beat reading from my Fitbit watch was to squeeze the handles really hard. No one's going to do that for long. I suggest the manufacturer work with a company that makes forearm heart rate monitors and have the bikes console be able to receive the signal from that monitor. Much more accurate and reliable than these joke hand sensors. Oh well.

I waited eight days for FedEx to deliver this from Calif. to my home in Virginia. It's going back ASAP.

Maximum Inseam = 29", NOT 37.5" as shown in the ad

I would recommend this product to someone who has no type of physical disability, why because we bought it for my brother who has a problem with his balance and just a few days after we got it he was trying to get on it and because it has this nonsense bar right below the seat going across he tried stepping over it and trip hitting his right foot. He spent a whole week limping and with a bruised and sore foot and ankle. We are now extremely careful when getting on it. But definitely didn't see the point on that bar below the seat. It gives no space for you to slide your feet through to seat down. We didn't see it before buying but it we would've we honestly wouldn't have gotten it. But again, for someone who can easily lift their knees high up to get on it Is perfectly fine.

Not the best one for someone with a balance issue

The left pedal broke off just after a month of use. The crank has completely lost thread. I reached out to Merach to replace the crank and pedal but aside from asking for pictures they have not done anything to resolve it. Meanwhile the bike is sitting useless in a corner without a left pedal.

Pretty decent exercise bike. Fairly easy instructions except for a couple of steps but overall well-made and easy to put together. Quiet workout and the resistance knob did change the level of resistance as promised. My biggest complaint is that the photos say it is 52 inches long but it is only 44 inches long, and they stated that it's good for people up to 6‘3“, but I am 5 foot 10 and found it to be a bit short, and I was very careful to pick out one that would be big enough and after a two hour assembly, I was very annoyed to have to take it apart and send it back. The other negative as other reviewers have said it's the seat was very uncomfortable.

Too short for anyone 6 foot or over
