I have worn the standard Moab for many years. Recent safety audits at work (semiconductor equipment field service and equipment maintenance) now requires toe protection and electrical hazard rated work shoes.  Merrell Moab quality was never in question as they have been my daily wear shoes for many, many years. Ordered the same size in the work shoe.  Fit was comparable to the standard shoe, the normal width fits perfectly. I am on my feet nearly 12hrs per shift, about the only thing I would change purchasing a premium/custom insole.

Great shoe,comfortable, I am a landscaper and love the toe safety feature. It's a tad bit clunky due to toe safety but I got used to it pretty fast. Feet stay cool and dry. Great traction. Would definitely buy again.

Landscapers dream shoe

Comfortable. Slips on and off easily. Have told co-workers and am seeing more pairs of Merrell  CT shoes at work everyday.

Moab Vertex

Great fitting, comfortable, well made, gives a very stable footing with excellent grip.  This shoe lives up to the Merrell reputation and will not disappoint you.

Quality and tradition.

It is in fact a well made boot and very roomy... A little too much for my preference but great boot none the less .
It was my first time buying a Merrel composite toe boot and I have to say that I will recommend it to others.

Great workboot

Wear these everyday for 10 hour workdays. They are comfortable and the comp toe doesn't hurt or rub blisters. Great shoes.

Great for carpenters.

I have had many work boots and safety shoes over a long time. These are my favorite. Best fit, best comfort, best quality.

Best work show ever.

THE repeat THE most comfortable work shoes I have ever worn. The soles are supremely durable, just not as non-slip as I would like. The failure point on these shoes for me is the upper. They will detach laterally from the soles after 10-12 months,or split at the toe so the effective non-ferrous toe guard falls out onto the floor while walking and co-workers mock me for that. My spirit remains lofty. I plan on replacing these shoes in 3-4 months with similar from Merrell.

Your co-workers will be jealous.

I have two other pairs of shoes from Merrell and both are very comfortable and are holding up very well,  but the these Moab Vertex Vent...shoes are not comfortable to ware at all.

Uncomfortable

Very hard soles (shoes click like tap shoes when you walk) leaving little to no cushion. Also, the heel in the left shoe of my pair collapsed after a week of wearing them.

Not recommended. Hoping I can get my money back.
