[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually have to grow tomatoes and peppers in containers and keep them off the ground to keep the slugs and bugs off of them. My tomato plants really respond well with this new organic soil as have the various pepper plants. Whether I use just this soil or mix it into existing soil from last year, it definitely seems to regenerate the nutrition that these high production plants need, especially with early growing. This will be my preferred soil for my container plants. I'm expecting a strong harvest this summer!

In a short time the oringe sprouted blossoms and the flowers plants looks great. Thanks to Scotts Miracle Gro.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best for flowers. Easy to use, everything in one bag and the plants really grow. Highly recommend for any container plants. Use as much as container will hold cannot harm plants. No need to add food or fertilizer.

Love this stuff

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Miracle-Gro Performance Organic container mix is really pleasant to use. It smells good like fresh soil and it is light enough for me to carry. The bag was easy enough to open with my fingers. It made me happy to get to use this. I needed to sit outside in the sunshine to try and get well from a bout of sickness and this was easy to use and didn't over exert me. I re-potted my Spaths (peace lilies) and they seemed grateful. I also filled a big pot that I added tomato seeds to. I also refreshed the dirt for my other indoor plants. The only downside that I noticed is after using this with my bare hands my hands got red and chapped. So perhaps I need to wear gloves or apply lotion to my hands before I use this. I still have a bit left in the bag and I'm glad because I want to plant some more.  I will buy this kind again.

Light and Rich

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a little warmer here In the south so I purchased this product to plant some herbs in pots that I will eventually transplant into my garden. So far the herbs are doing great. This being organic is perfect for my family since we try to eat mostly organic foods.

I bought this soil about a month ago and all it's done is grow mold and more mold. I bought to bags. I decided to give it another shot thinking maybe it was a bad batch but noooo. More fungus. I let them dry out. I leave the windows open and still. What a waste of time and money. Very disappointed

MOLD LIKE NO OTHER!

After begging my husband to buy this and spending a fortune on it, my plants didn't grow very much. We even bought a bottom watering grow box and followed all the instructions.  Here is a picture of my Big Bertha bell pepper which was planted 2 months ago.  Needless to say my husband is very unhappy about spending that much money  (or any money) on something that doesn't work.

Not happy

Bought this soil for some potted plants, but upon opening the bag smelt pretty pungent. I thought that was normal and there were no sort of mildew-y smells. But within a day of transplanting my indoor house plants, they were SWARMING with gnats. I've put ribbon up and have used neem, but the problem did not stop. I transferred my plant to a new container with a different brand of soil and within the next few days the ribbon traps and neem wiped them out. There were no other variables changed (fert, temp, humidity, etc) and the only thing that I can dwindle it down to is soil. Definitely bummed, I had high hopes for this soil.

BUGS!!

I bought this product over two weeks ago, used the one bag, put the other away for a future use. I repotted my indoor Meyer lemon tree, and within a few days, I noticed small flying insects around it. Upon closer inspection, I saw them in and on the soil, they are eating the leaves as well. I killed what I could, and set traps and sprayed for the rest. After being unable to get rid of them all, I got out the other bag I bought, to change the soil. As I opened the bag, I thought I saw the dirt move; I looked closer and the bugs were in the bag of soil and a few flew out! I now have them in my other houseplants as well....How can you sell this?! Disgusting!

Bug infested!

I ordered 24 Rose of Sharon starts and planted them in pots using this Miracle Gro Products, hoping to give them a good start before I plant them outside next year.  A few days later I found fungus gnats everywhere in the pots and swarming around the grow lights.  I tried everything but all but 3 have died and the 3 remaining don't look like they'll make it.  The gnats have now infested every plant I have.
