I purchased the Miracle-Gro Indoor Potting Mix for All Plants, 6 qt because my plants were struggling in regular soil that stayed too wet and heavy.

This soil helped fix that problem. It’s lighter and fluffier, so my plants don’t sit in water as long, and it’s easier to work with when repotting. My indoor plants look healthier and less droopy after switching to this.

What I like is that it’s ready to use, works for most houseplants, and already has nutrients that feed plants for a while. It also seems to be less prone to gnats, which is a big plus indoors. 

What you need to know is it’s still a basic mix. It holds some moisture, so if you tend to overwater, you might want to add perlite to improve drainage. It’s also not chunky like premium mixes, so serious plant people usually customize it.

Overall, it fixed my issue with heavy, soggy soil and works well for everyday indoor plants. Good option, especially if you want something simple and affordable.

I have used Miracle Gro Potting Soil all the years I've been planting (%26 that is many, many years) %26 it has always produced beautiful plants! Would definitely recommend.

Easy open bag. I like that it has nutrients to make my otherwise starved Christmas cactus happy, just after a week of repotting my cactus looks like I saved the poor thing.

Im a novice at caring for houseplants but so far all my plants have done well (minus my 2 palms that somehow were destroyed by spider mites but that has nothing to do with this soil) using this mix some added perlite(even tho it already contains some)

Good potting soil

This is the only potting soil I will use as it never disappoints and is very cost effective..
Easy to use when I need to add soil to older plants..I keep a plastic cup in the bag so it's easy to scoop up what I need...I have one plant that's at least 20 years old and still thriving due to the nutrients in the soil...Highly recommend...you won't be disappointed

Best and most dependable potting soil

OMGoodness Miracle grow has always been the best soil and my spider plant was almost dead and I just repotted it in a mainstay self watering planter with miracle grow soil yesterday and it's perky and healthy already I honestly can't believe the difference!

Miracle grow potting soil

I’ve used this product in the past successfully. My issue was misguided information about quantity, it stated that it would fill 2  -6” pots or 1-12”” pot and it didn’t. I am finding many products have changed and quality standards have lowered over time  This just makes me question  possible other substandard qualities of product.

Bags were old, opened, then taped shut. the soil was full of mold and useless. Unfortunately, being disabled, I dont have the privilege to leave my home and pick out my own groceries. It's common to end up with trash that they still try to sell for profit.
