[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Spring comes and then returns to winter this year in the Northeast ... earlier in the month we added 14 inches of snow, so I haven't planted anything tender yet, but I did plant a few small heath shrubs. True to its product description using Miracle-Gro Quick Start Planting Tablets is easy ... nothing to measure, nothing to mix. My small shrubs came in 6 inch pots, so I dug eight inch holes a little deeper than the pot, dropped in 2 tabs, put in the plant, back-filled and watered. It is too early to say, as far as results, but I do appreciate how easy using these tablets is. 
Moving on, I thought of an idea to use some these tabs by putting them under some of the plants already planted. I did this using a long 'surgical clamp' from my tool box. With the soil damp, it was easy to shove tablets under my Hosta plants. I can't wait to observe the results. The heavy rain we just had would have washed away granulated surface 'side dressing' fertilizer.

Great way to get your new plants growing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Miracle-Gro® Quick Start® Planting Tablets just in time to get my tomato plants into larger containers. Very easy to use as you simply drop the tablets in and cover with a bit of soil before you set the plant into the hole. Voila! Your plants now have enough nutrients for the first 30 days! I had a few tablets left over so I gave them to a friend who is a novice gardener. Hopefully the success she has will encourage her to to a lot more gardening in the future.

Great Product !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is a great idea to easily fertilize your plants from the get-go. Just drop one tablet into the ground and cover with layer of soil before you plant and your off to the races. For fun, I recently (about 1 week ago) I planted two pansies in a pot side by side. One plant (purple) had the quick start tablet applied, while the yellow plant was not provided the tablet. The directions indicate that the tablet will increase root growth in the first 30 days. Afterward you should feed regularly with miracle-gro plant food. The picture attached shows the purple pansy just one bud above the yellow pansy. Yes, I agree this was not very scientific due to proximity of the plants, but fun to try anyway.

Quick Boost for the growing season

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the tablets on my winter carryover geraniums. Initially, they were slow to grow or sprout much. It took weeks to really see some significant progress. With daily care, the results are now easy to see, I have strong flowers and bare stems have sprouted buds where I really didn't think anything would grow anymore. I have started using a water soluble fertilizer as well. The tabs are fairly large but the yield has been good.
