Just received the organizer. Disappointed given the price. I ordered a metal piece to get better quality than wooded options. The item was scratched and dented in multiple places. As the box it came in was not damaged, I'm assuming it was packed with this damage.   The middle dividers are to be slid onto the unit and ends wrap around the bottom of the organizer I had to bend the ends out in order to get them to slide into position (did this before sitting it on the desk) Any future adjustment to the position of the dividers would cause scratching to the desktop if in place as the unit sits directly on the surface and there is no clearance for the divider ends to slide.  If I had a shipping department, I'd return. As it was purchased for home office, I'll deal with the scratches/dents and add add stick-on pads to raise it slightly but I'm not a happy buyer! 3 stars for being functional.
