Protect your purchase

Several complaints below about them not fitting on Cat6A cables (and some that just say Cat6), but I had no problem getting them onto Monoprice PID 8103 Cat6.  They sure don't feel like they're the highest quality rubber/vinyl, but they do the job.

Works as expected. Simple boot, good price. Adds a level of professionalism and strength to cables that you terminate yourself.

Needed special colored snag-less boots to differentiate networks on premises and to prevent or identify unwanted interconnects between the standalone networks and the Internet.

It Was What I Needed

Seems okay quality, and a great deal, as shipping is included.  Great seller again.  But these don't fit what I hoped they would. They must be a standard size everyone knows, but I didn't.  Not worth returning and all; maybe a use will turn up.

Too small for intended use.  Exact size or how used were not shown in ad, so I assssumed....

Not as bright yellow as the picture, more of a dark mustard. Difficult fit over shielded cable, fit fine on regular 6a.

Darker than the picture, not the standard blue. Fit fine over Cat6a, tight on shielded.

They work decently well, but the color is not as bright as shown in the description

They get the job done

I ordered these so that I could use them with Monoprice Cat6A shielded plugs.  They do not fit.  Monoprice does not sell the correct boot to be used with their Cat 6A cables.

Not enough product info

I ordered boots with Monoprice Cat6 Ethernet Bulk 24AWG. I could not fit boot on cable. The base of boot is too small for diameter of cable.  Not sure how this product has not received more negative reviews, maybe my batch is defective....?
