We wanted to split the image un to two tv's and this works great. It was affordable and it arrived quickly.

We had a very simple digital signage set up where we wanted it to duplicate to two TVs facing different directions - in testing, these passive splitters worked perfectly with computer monitors. However, when we installed them on the TVs, they stopped working as soon as more than 1 TV was plugged into them. We tried with multiple TV models as well. For some scenarios, these would be great, but they didn't work for us. If they had worked, I really liked the rugged construction and the fact they don't need a separate power supply.

Doesn't work for some units

Monoprice

We were mistaken in hoping we could keep both Chromecast and our DirecTV box plugged in at the same time but sadly no. But it's an extension and easy to access when we want to plug one or the other in.
Wish it had switches on it to turn one or the other off/on. For that we'd pay more.
As it is, it's worth the price.

USB dual extender/splitter

Unit does convert from Male to Female. But it possesses an electronic attribute that confuses the DIRECTV signal, such that two TVs can not be plugged in at the same time.

HDMI Splitter

I purchased the splitter to use with Verizon Fios to split HDMI to two TVs for football.  Wanted to watch the same game in two locations.

Does not work.  Will only allow one signal at a time.  Something to due with the format hdcp 2.2.  Product did not say it would not work with certain formats.

Not a good product

This will not split the signal from my cable box to 2 TV at the same time . Only allows one signal out .

Waste of money

Even though the plugs are firmly in place, the signal output is poor or flickers. Reseating all plugs does no good.

Poor connections

this was the worst product i have ever bought, it did not work at all, do not buy it, instead buy a game on steam, rent a movie, do anything but buy this cable

Dont waste your money on this garbage

the delivery was acceptional, however the product failed to produce favorable results,
it seems to corrupt the signal to produce a snow filled picture.

Walmart delivery

Wasn't what i expected. If i plug to hdmi the tv looks blurry and no sound at all. Got disappointed and also have to pay to return the hdmi cable which is no good.
