Maybe I got a lemon, but this monitor just seemed washed out. It was OK at best. It just lacked any true dynamics or brilliance. Didn't matter how much I adjusted all the settings. It just left me wanting more.

This monitor comes in at a great price point considering the specs that it has. But unfortunately everything that looks good on paper isn't always the case in person. The monitor worked perfectly all the way up until I decided to plug into the display port. It didn't work and at first I had assumed maybe the wire was defective. Again giving the benefit of the doubt,I went ahead and tried with a HDMI to display port adapter and nothing. Finally I attempted to use an another pc in the efforts to rule out if it was a hardware failure on the first PC's end. Turns out it was not, the monitor lasted 4 days with me and has now been returned. My main concern would be I understand there's always been a bad wrap of MSI having bad quality control. But for a brand new monitor to not have a port working right out of the box is surprising, but also to be expected at this price. You'd be hard to pass up on the price seeing the specs of this monitor, but understanding the quality that it comes with. You'd be better off just getting the best in class, and in my opinion, the odyssey Neo G8 or G7. Kudos to MSI for attempting to create such a good monitor on paper but a thumbs down for their quality control issues still being persistent even in a monitor.
