I spent a lot of time researching laptops, looking for something to do mostly CAD work. This laptop had great specs, especially for the price. One of my main considerations was being able to drive two seperate monitors, which, according to the MSI website, is possible, one through HDMI, the other through USB-C. However, upon recieving the laptop, this turned out not to be the case, as the USB-C port is not display port compaitbile, despite what the website says. When contacted about this, MSI simply stated that USB-C cannot do display port, which is untrue - some USB-C ports can, and the website clearly states USB-C is a display out.

Additionally, after less than 2 months of use, the USB-C port has stopped working, so now I'm stuck putting in a warrnety claim.

Performance otherwise has been good, as it's speedy for CAD and handles everything I throw at it.. Just very dissapointed in the misleading advertising, the lack of MSI willing to do anyhting abou the advertising, and the unreliable nature of it. It's not acceptable at this price point for a laptop aimed at professionals.
