Unbeleivable!!!!  I bolted it in and released the fuel line I had crimped closed.     Waiting about 5 minutes while buttoning up a few other things.   Then gave it ONE pull of the starter cord and it sparked right up.   On the very first pull.  It is like a brand new snowblower now.   Before the new carb it would only run with the choke fully on.  And now it barley needs the choke at all.  Each time I try to start it with the choke on I have to turn it off so it will start(all while it was in a warm building, but still).  I have put on countless carberators and never have they gone this good.  Everything is better now.  The way it runs and the amount of snow it throws and the way if pulls/drives. Everything is better. It is amazing and this might be the best carberatoir job I have ever done.

If snowblower needs carb rebuild, buy this instead

Troy Built snowblower carburetor

My mother has a Troy bolt snowblower that had been sitting in the shed with a tank full of gas for the past 5 years. Quickly realizing the carburetor was bad I ordered one from Troy bolt and the snowblower started right up after. The parts are good quality. The only thing I didn't like was the new carb didn't come with a new gasket, but all in all a good experience

The carburetor worked as it should, however the gasket kit I ordered which had multiple gaskets I had to pay for but not need, was missing two of the gaskets I needed. I had to make my own gaskets the best I could. Very disappointed!

The newer model carburetor has a different attachment to the operator control knob.  Should be sent with carburetor since it's different.  What a piece of junk this whole unit is.
