This bag has done a great job collecting everything and it is very easy to use. To use it you just pull it right over the chute, pull it as tight as you can, and clip it. It has not come loose in use and it seems very durable.

Better than new

I bought an older MTD chipper/shredder- they didn't offer a collection bag with this but after using it, I knew one was necessary.
This bag fit perfectly and has functioned without flaw many times with many different shredded products:  organic compost, chipped wood for mulch and fruit woods for smoking fish/meats.
Please note however, these are not 5 bushel bags!  The bag is almost two feet by three feet, just a little over one bushel.  A 5 bushel bag would be about 46 gallons, so compare that to a 55 gallon drum…  
In all fairness, a full bag, just over one bushel, is about all a person can comfortably handle full anyway.  (A bushel of wheat is about 60 pounds). The bag worked, was easy to handle and easily captured and emptied the different chipped/shredded products I wanted to make.

Chipper/shredder collection bag you must have!

Item was exactly as described and arrived on time.  The dimensions given in the description were a little off - I believe they gave the dimensions of the bag while it was folded.  It ended up being the exact same bag as the one that came with the machine.  Perfect!!

Excellent purchase

The actual size of this bag is 2ft x 3ft. It is very heavy duty and should last a long time. I ordered it to replace an old bag on my 20 year old MTD chipper. It works fine.
