This was a fun activity for the kids to do as a gift to their grandma! Highly recommend. Just wish there was more paint included in the kit. Also note for other parents, the plaster is incredibly hard so make it extra runny if you are trying to push a baby hand or foot into it.

These were so fun! My kids loved making them. They do cure quickly, so if you're wanting to add gems etc, you have to work quickly. We have ours outside and the paint has lasted the weather without a protectant of any kind. We did feel the mixture needed a lot more water than the directions called for. Plan to purchase a few for gifts!

Fun activity and the perfect gift!

This is a great activity for kids and adults. There is enough to make 4 stepping stones and they dry super fast. I did this with my daughter when she was little and I bought this one to do with my granddaughter. She loves it. We painted hers yesterday. The paint dries fast as well. Highly recommended!!!

Great activity for kids and adults!

This was a great arts and crafts to do with my kids. However, the directions for water adding is not correct. You will have to pretty much eyeball it, because I had two kids doing this project and each added the same amount of water and got two different types of clay in their mold. One's was too milky and the other's was almost not maleable. So again, eyeball for consistency. But it is a cute project to do with kids of all ages.

Stepping Stone Mold

First time using this brand.  It was a mess. Followed the  instructions. Tried 3 times ended up throwing all in garbage. complete waste of forty eight dollars.  I have been making stepping stones for years and I've never seen a mess like this, it hardened too fast for the kids to do anything. Changed to quick crete fast setting and everything worked perfect.

Do not Buy this item.

the included stone mold is smaller than the 2 cups of water they recommend you add to the plaster mix %26 smaller than the plaster powder volume on it's own. when I used the recommended water temperature (measured by two different thermometers) from the directions the plaster set so fast that I could not even transfer it to the mold, I increased the water temperature for the second bag, after discarding the first mix and it still set too fast to put handprints into. for the final two bags I mixed it directly in the mold until I got to a consistency that would accept a print, however it acts like oobleck so it's hard underneath and liquid on top, the handprints did not look good.  my kids tried to add a colourful stone and the plaster cracked in the mold when my 2 year old poked her finger onto it. 
I guess you get what you pay for, save your time and just throw the $15 directly in the trash because that's essentially what happened here.

not worth the time or mkney

I was very disappointed on the set Up of this cement mold product. Did exactly what the step  by step required to mix and place in the mold. It was awful to mix and I'm an  adult, a child could never do this even with assistance from an adult. It only had I mold and would  have to let dry overnight to make another one. When I removed the cement from mold it fell into little pieces.  I was so disappointed! So we're my grandsons who were staying with us! I threw away the rest of the Mix! So So Disappointed

Followed the instructions exactly as written; was difficult to mix up %26 it hardened waaay too quickly to be able to get the kiddos footprints. We tried all four bags %26 had the same experience with each of them. Very frustrating! Do not recommend.

Not great for foot or hand prints

I got these for my daughters and nieces to make for Mother's Day. They dried before we could even pour it into the mold. I added extra water when I noticed how fast it was drying but it did not help. Ended up throwing the whole thing away. Very sad.

Dried way too fast

I had used another brand to make a steppingstone with one of my granddaughters, so I wanted to make another one with my other granddaughter and bought this kit. The plaster dries so fast we barely had time to get the gemstones and shiny things pushed into it. It was quite disappointing. If you wanna make something really fast this is your thing. If you wanna make it how you like it this isn't your thing. I wouldn't recommend it. I'd pick one with quick dry cement in It.
