Every year I buy a pair of white denim jeans, try them on with high hopes, and then return them. This pair finally met my expectations for white denim, and they're perfect for summer given the high waist and button fly which pairs so well with shorter tops. I like that they feel like denim but still have a good amount of stretch. I noticed some other reviewers commented on the pockets, and although I agree the pockets appear a bit more white, it's only because there's additional fabric there. Any time you layer white fabric, it appears more opaque. Plus it's really only noticeable on the back pockets. But these are definitely not see-through for me. They fit true to size. I always buy 24 in Madewell jeans and these were no different. For reference I am 5'-6”, 110lb (with hips).

I'm always cautious about buying white pants because I'n nervous you will be able to see through them - not the case with these!
I ordered my normal size 28. I love the button look but I will say that the buttons make them look a little tight / stretched when I have them on. Hoping they will stretch out a little once I wear them, but overall I'm happy with the purchase! Love these jeans!

Great pair of white jeans

These jeans are everything I had hoped they would be. I took the recommendations and purchased a size up from my normal Madewell denim size and wish I had not. They are loose and I will be exchange for my TTS. The thickness is good and they are not see-through.

Go-to White Jean

These are the comfiest white jeans I've ever owned! I am usually a 6-8 or 29 and i bought a 29 and they fit perfectly. They are just the right amount of stretch, and are not see through at all. I know I will be wearing these all spring/ summer long- highly recommend!

Comfiest jeans I ever bought

These jeans are so cute & comfortable. I bought these in a size 25- I wear a 24 in most Madewell but I bought a 25 because they are white. They are a good weight and I don't have to worry about anything showing through. I highly recommend them.

Cute & Comfy!

These jeans are great - not see through, flattering fit, you just have to size up. Im typically a 24 or 25 in madewell jeans and had to go up to a 26. Once I sized up though these are really the perfect white jeans for summer.

Great jeans, just size up

I was looking for a pair of high waisted white jeans for spring. These definitely ranked the best. Good thickness. I am usually a 25P in most madewell jeans but sized up to a 26P since white jeans are less forgiving.

Perfect pair of white jeans for spring

I wanted to like these jeans so much, but they just really weren't comfortable when I put them on. They were too rigid, sagged in the crotch area, and were see through enough to see my underwear and pockets. Just generally not comfortable. I felt like they were just ill-fitting in general.

Not super comfortable & see through

I am normally a size 26 at Madewell (25 for really stretchy styles). I got these in a 26 and they were just way too tight for white jeans. The waist fit well, but on my butt and thighs, they were just wayyy too tight for white jeans. Maybe I should have sized up knowing they were white jeans, but I thought these ran smaller than other Madewell jeans! They are very stretchy, but I didn't want white jeans to be skin tight,

Runs really small and tight!

Ever seen a pair of jeans that shows every single cellulite dimple? Neither have I until now. I'm 5'3”, 140 lbs, bought a size 28. Can't believe what I was seeing. I can't even bring myself to post a photo because it's horrific. The fit is great, but the material is extremely cheap and thin. You can literally see every single cellulite dimple on my leg. Please, Madewell, don't ever sell these again.
