I spent hours pouring over reviews. Recieved this item today..so far I've made 4 cycles of ice on large setting(one fill of water).  The first three I threw out (tap water) they were cloudy. The distelled water (I bought cheap gallons) is clear and excellent bullet ice. Tray could be bigger but I love this machine. It also arrived before expected ship date. There is a little noise from machine..compressor kicking on and ice dropping. But totally worth it.

So easy! Did my research. Most units do not cycle back melted cubes if you forget to empty when red light says full, this one does. Keep in mind, even the most expensive units do not act like a freezer so you hv to empty hopper when full. Shake off any extra water melt and best to put in gallon bags bc cubes will freeze together, so then just give bag a smack too loosen when u go to use. When I refill water hopper I put a few frozen cubes in to mk water really cold so machine does not hv to wrk hard. This unit is very qiet. Made in USA, so if you hv issues no shipping off long distance for repairs. Wish I would hv got this sooner, love it!!

So Easy! Not loud, recyles melted Ice

Absolutely love this!  Simple easy and operator friendly.  9 small cubes every seven minutes!  Looks great on the counter top.  A lot quieter than I expected.  I've had family visiting all week and the ice is always available no need to go out and get more.  Easy to clean and our grandson loves being able to look in the window to see the ice.  Great product!

At first  I had difficulty,  putting it in a PRACTICAL  location .
I purchased it, because I'm  4'8", and bent FORWARD.  Therefore,  using  My  freezer's ice maker,  isn't  a possibility.  Purchasing a bag of ice, only  managed to  have ice cubes  falling from the bag.
The solution? ice making machine. 
The  first batch took a bit, but when it stopped  making  noise  (not annoying at all), I looked,  and  it was FULL,  of BEAUTIFUL  little cubes. 
So,  I go to dump the  remaining water,  and was ready...
Not even  close.
I pulled the plug, and the water ran down My hand, and all over  the floor  (YES, I DID  have  a container  to catch it!)
Solution?
I  now have the ice maker,  right AT the kitchen sink.  when it's time,  to dump the  water..which BTW is a LOT, because  it takes  very little,  to make a FULL  batch of ice....I only have to  move it, a few inches,  with the 'emptying hole ', directly over the sink, put on a rubber glove,  and pull the plug, as the water  happily  travels  directly into the sink,  to parts unknown. 
SERIOUSLY FOLKS,  it's a great ice maker.  One load, fills 2 quart sized bags, 1/2 full. 
when I go to get the ice, I tap the bag on the counter to loosen the  cubes, and  use  1/2 of the cubes..saving the rest for My  next drink.
I'm 74, and not in great shape.  I  lost My Husband of nearly 60 years,  in January; and I'm  doggoned PROUD  to say  that  I  didn't  return  this MAGIC CHEF, just because it was a bit difficult. 
I simply  put  My thinking cap on, and  worked it out Myself.

A bit difficult at first,  but works GREAT

I am a person who likes lots of ice in her drinks and doesn't have a fridge with an internal ice machine.  This doesn't take up much counter space in my kitchen and works beautifully for my daily needs.  I store a couple gallon freezer bags with ice in my freezer so it's ready when I need it for a special event in my home.  I had [reviousdly purchased my first Master Chef several years ago and was very happy with the results.  I then purchased 3 Igloo ice machines (trying to save a little $$$) before returning to the Master Chef and will never buy anything else again.  I have gotten several years out of a machine before buying a replacement.  I purchased the warranty at a low cost.

LOVE THIS. Takes up a bit of space but totally worth re-arranging my counterspace. I love my drinks very cold and now I have ice all the time without spilling water all over the place.

Ice Maker did arrive several days late.  Instructions were clear and easy to set up. It works great and makes ice cubes in two sizes.  Ice Maker makes more ice cubes than I could ever use.  It is a little loud.

Good buy for the money

I got this ice maker for Valentine's Day.. And I love it I haven't had no problem with it so far!! And is very easy maintenance.. And now I don't have to go any longer to a store to get ice!! Now when I Need Ice will have some in 7 minutes.. Y'all it can't get no better then that!!!

This machine is impressive,  pretty color, I got the red.  Works great, like the size of the cubes.  The only negative is that it's slow, wish it worked faster, but other wise it's a good working machine, made 6 gallon bags of ice so far.
