This freezer is just the right size for us. It's small but holds more than you would think. It came very quickly and in perfect condition.  We have only had it a short time so I can't rate it on the long term performance yet, but it is working out great.

Very happy with this purchase makes very little noise very spacious made very well look's nice not cheap. I am very happy that we went with this model very compact so good for someone with not a lot of extra room. Actually holds alot more food than I thought it would. Would buy again.

5 star for Magic Chef upright freezer

This is my first Magic Chef product.  I purchased it online from my favorite store Walmart. It was delivered in record time in perfect condition. I bought it on July 30th 2020 and it is freezing everything I put in there in record time. this is the first small (3.0 cubic ft) upright freezer. It is black with a silver door. I'm still loving it.

I've had this freezer for 2 days now, and so far so good! It arrived in good shape except for a small dent on the back, and it's a lot roomier than I expected.  Other reviewers mention the door not closing, but mine is working perfect. It went up to temperature within hours, and is still holding well.  And the first night, I kept going over and putting my hand on it to make sure it was still running, that's how quiet it is. I will update in the future!

Great purchase!

Excellent! This freezer has big roomy shelves, fits all my meats, and it is gorgeous. I have right next to my black fridge and they look perfect together. It also serves as a shelf when removing items from either. I love it.

Great little freezer it fits very nicely in my kitchen, its just what i needed.  Giving a four star because there was a huge dent in the back of the freezer and a small ding on the s.s. Door the box was not damaged so this was done before it was packaged, really?  Employees please take pride in your work. Arrived 8/3/20 one day late but so far it working fine.  Followed instructions with the set up, hoping it last for a while (photos attached)

I ordered this freezer to store meat and frozen foods during the pandemic. It's been a blessing. I like that it's black and stainless because it's in a corner of my apartment. I like that the door opens in front like a mini fridge. The top two shelves are roomy. The bottom shelf is smaller. Basically it's a good overflow freezer for my tiny apartment. It arrived with some shipping damage dings but since it was still operational, I kept it and Walmart took some money off rather than have me return it. Happy with it.

I bought this to store breastmilk in so it wouldn't take up so much room in my regular freezer. I set it up like I was supposed to (let it sit for a few hours before plugging it in, then plugging it in and slowly decreasing the temperature over about 24 hours before putting anything in there). I put it on the coldest setting to make sure the milk would stay frozen. Within 48 hours of the milk being in there it all started to get soft. I had to move everything back to my regular freezer but I left one bag of milk in there just to see if it would thaw completely. 24 hours after that it was completely thawed, and not even super cold. I ended up having to return this. But I will say that the rep that helped me with the return on the phone made the return process very easy for me. But it wasn't worth the money at all. It's basically a mini fridge, not a mini freezer.

Nice looking, good size for us, and seemed to be a good value, but....

The freezer stopped working after only 3 months of normal use in our kitchen.  We had to throw out all of our food and clean out the gross smell, etc. to defrost it, clean it, and try to restart it and see if it would work again.  Now, we can hear that the motor is on and working, but it does not cool at all!  Waste of our money and food money and lots of our time.
