Setup is straightforward and easy to follow.

You have to add water first. I didn't know and thought it was broken. You don't have to charge it the first time you play with it. This toy is 100% worth the price $59 I paid. But I wouldn't pay more. It's reusable. You can reset it buy more potions and do magic again.

I found the toy a bit cheaper than amazon and with a faster delivery time than amazon.  I definitely suggest doing a little bit of legwork and check walmart as an alternative there are plenty of items worth buying at wally world vs amazon and of course always the convenience that something isnt right you always have the brick store you can return the item

This toy is a popular item for the 2021 Christmas toy list wish to which i purchased for my granddaughter. This product was hard to find at the original purchase price of @69.99 . i paid well over $129.00 for this product to me was highway robbery considering these companies can get away it it and a normal citizen can not we would be under the jail. weather it's supply and demand it was no reason to cause this much of a price hike from a third party seller you all should be ashamed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter is obsessed. She said she felt like a witch making a potion to create her own magical creature. She wants to do it again but they are a bit costly imo I looked at the refill pack stuff but it's just liquids there is no plushie option. I think it was worth buying to let her have the experience but they now have cheaper versions I think I'll just buy that if she does the potion stuff and no toys I know she will be disappointed.

Magical toy

Bought as a gift for my Grand Daughter and everything was as described. 
The only issue I have with the product is the a few of the items needed for it to do all its magic had only a very limited supply. Limited to just a few uses. We also had to purchase refills so she could at least use it for more than a short day.

Satisfied Walmart Customer!

The experience is fun and exciting for kids. The smoke it makes can be a lot, but is fun and cool. Awessome you can buy packs to experience again.  Mixie is cute, surprisingly flat and a bit on the hard side. kids were happy. A bit pricy, but unique.

Items came in plain cardboard box packaging with only a battery sticker on them. Nothing to identify to the gift receiver (obviously a child) what they are getting inside the box. Makes it seem like a knock off and takes away from the thrill of opening it on Christmas morning. Won't use it for a few weeks yet, but I'm hoping this is the worst of the disappointment in this purchase.

Where's the marketed packaging?

My 5 year old grandson wanted this toy in the worst way, as his sister received one for Christmas and he loved the process. He was so disappointed when it did not work. It got stuck in a cycle of repeating the same things over and over.  NOT RECOMMENDED.

After  carefully  mixing  all ingredients and Nothing , it was jammed and couldn't  reveal the toy . Meanwhile water  was coming out of the bowl ,it was just a mess. My granddaughter was heartbroken. Even the key wouldn't turn to unlock.  It was Horrible !!!!

Don't Waste your Money

very disappointed in this item , my daughter was so excited with all the magic involved....we followed all the directions and when it came time to turn the  key on the side  to turn the false bottom to reveal the animal wld not turn , so we ended up having to take the bottom off to get the animal and ruining magic of the surprises :( had such high hopes of this being the best toy this and she was so excited when she opened it and than disappointed when the magic was broken
