Packs

What can one say. I ordered four of these Mystery Boxes, they were packed securely and shipped quickly arriving two days before the expected delivery.  I was looking forward to "the mystery" of these boxes as well as the chance of receiving one of the seeded vintage packs. Much to my chagrin each box contained the exact same packs. There was no variation, no variety, no difference and very little mystery. Each of the three boxes contained: 3-Shadows Over Innistrad Midnight Hunt Set Booster packs and 2-Shadows Over Innistrad Midnight Hunt Collector Boosters. Yes, I repeat myself - 3 set boosters and 2 collector boosters from the same MTG set. Seeing the 2 collector boosters made up for a little of the disappointment. Some would say, what a load of garbage. I would agree except for the spectacular results from opening the 9-set boosters and 6-collector boosters. Using the card values from TCG player, and just valuing rares and mythics, a total of $154 was pulled from the 15 packs. This was a little bit more than what was paid for the three mystery boxes. Was I happy to just get Midnight Hunt boosters - not in the least bit. Was I happy to get 6-collector boosters rather than the advertised two - you betcha. Was I happy to at least recoup the monetary value for these three mystery boxes - who wouldn't be. I have to give this a four star rating just because of the value and great cards pulled (2-Wren and Sixes (one a foil), multiple lands in both regular and foil, plenty of nice mid range rares and mythics). I stopped short of giving this a 5-star rating because one would expect a little bit of variety from a mystery box. There was no mystery here, it was like experiencing a short version of "Ground Hog Day" or de-ja-vu. Open one box - ehhh, open the second box and there was a sarcastic "great" exclamation, open the third box and it was a very vocal "crap." Who knows what is in the 4th box purchased. Based upon the results of the first three I can take a good guess. Rather than risking opening the final box and getting hosed it is now sitting on the top shelf, in the darkest corner of the MTG storage closet. Maybe in a few years I will clean that shelf and rediscover the mystery and subject myself to reliving a little mental trauma.

It's a gamble, you take your chances, I got lucky.

Purchased 10 of these and every single box had the exact same packs, not ramdom at all. No chase packs pulled. I do not recommend at all.

Not good.

It is not what it is advertised as. I opened multiple boxes in March and it was actually a variety of old and new packs in each one. I just purchased a few more and they are all the same. It seems that someone purchased a lot of boxes then bought cheaper new packs of hunt and D

Garbage

An absolute waste of money. It's a ruse to get rid of Midnight Hunt and Adventures of the Forgotten Realm excess inventory. 

Bought 2 boxes for $100. TCG value is less than $40 total. If it wasn't for an $11 land, there would have been nothing of any value whatsoever.

Do not buy, if it were cheaper it might be worth it, but as it is it's a complete ripoff. Basically nothing but Crimson Vow and Midnight hunt packs

Got like 2 midnight two crimson vow and 1 crimson vow box. Not rly worth it tbh. It's a big gamble for $50 dollars. Not gonna probs make the money back. If it was like 25-30 I would be rly buying this product but Walmart getting greedy
