i got lucky. i bought 2 and got over $200 in card value. but cracking boosters are just about luck and it's gamble. it was fun.

Yeah, you're gonna get the same few sets as the 4 main packs. If you actually look at the bottom of the box, it yes you exactly what you can get and what the odds are. I've gotten Ixalan, Rivals of Ixalan, Amonkhet, Core 19, Guilds of Ravnica and Hour of Devastation as far as the basics go. The specials there are like five choices of what you get. I've gotten the Japanese Ikoria, Throne of Eldrich Collectors boosters and Battlebond as far as the special ones. Overall, yeah, I haven't actually got a box that's worth the thirty bucks as far as exact dollar value of everything contained goes, but this is a form of gambling after all. I've grabbed a couple real nice cards, the Amonkhet supplement set card Sunder, my battlebond pack had a $20 card in it. The “bonus” cards are just promo reprints of cards that are considered good. But being reprints drops that a bit. There are four different ones, it seems like it's one set or the other. If you're looking to boost your collection a little, this'll probably help you get a couple cards you were looking for. If you're a brand new player to magic, this is a good intro, if overpriced.

A really good buy if you get a collector pack inside as your special.

Underwhelming

This item is pretty cool. I always love opening packs and the chance to get something I have seen is fun. I've only gotten 2 so far: one had the Masterpiece Series: Amonkhet Invocations edition of Damnation, the other didn't have really anything of value and the “special pack” was an extra Guilds of Ravnica pack. I guess it's up in the air what you'll get I just expected a little more variety. Also the single promo cards are kind of just thrown in and might come out curling.

Shorted 3 packs, the fully sealed mystery box only contained a single ixalan and rivals of ixalan pack.  I understand this is for a gambler, but the shortage of boosters is an issue.

The only mystery is where the good cards are.

What a rip off I got 3 of these all 3 the same. 1 core 19 1 ixalan, 1 rivals of ixalan and an ahmonkhet and they have the audacity to add a Japanese ikoria booster as the special pack and 2 junk random promos all totaling to be like maybe 18 bucks what a rip off not a mystery product if every one is the same
