[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This item is very useful to have with the Magnetix handheld shower head. It is nice to have the handheld docked closer to the shower seat when shaving or rinsing out my hair. I imagine it would also be useful for shorter people to better reach the handheld. Installation was very easy. I just used the adhesive pad and it attached securely to my fiberglass shower surround.

It's perfect for the kids or even the elderly that need better control of the showerhead without assistance. Super easy to install. Low profile, not in the way at all. What a great idea!

I was able to install it at a height that made it easy for when I bend down to bathe my baby there is a holder at arms length distance.

Installation is simple - just make sure that the location you mount it points the shower head in the angle you want, as there's no swivel/rotation when the head is mounted to this dock. Seems useful if you want to mount near shower seat or lower location for children etc.

They love it and it makes them feel bigger and makes a lot less mess outside of the tub. I've also used it with extremely hot water while sitting in the tub after a really hard day

Love the showerhead but bought the Magnetix so that my 88 year old mother who takes a shower sitting down could reach it easily.  Problem is the double-sided tape won't hold it.  Have purchased Gorilla double-sided tape to replace the tape that came with the Magnetix and it is no better.  Refuses to stick to the shower tile for more than a few showers.

We recently replaced our hand held shower head with the Moen Magnetix brand.  It is actually very nice.  We decide to couple it th Magnetix dock, as I sometimes want to take a quick shower without getting my hair wet, or for the grandkids.  The problem is that when the shower head is mounted on the dock, the water comes out horizontally, instead of at a downward angle....not a good design at all!  I will be returning it. Do NOT recommend.

I have this mount so that I can shower while seated, but the angle on it is so minor that it sprays me right in the face, and hits the shower door behind me, flooding my bathroom. Absolutely do not recommend this item.

I called MOEN and asked if this item was intended to be used while the water is running. 
 I was told yes.  However, when mounted on the shower wall and the shower head is in place, the water streams almost horizontally, and not at an angle at all suitable for showering.  I thought perhaps there was a part missing.  This product needs a rubber/silicon wedge shaped part to put between the shower wall and the back of the docking unit to provide the necessary angle. C'mon MOEN, wake up that design team!
