This is worth every penny we spent on it. we are not using any chemicals in our pool, and all is perfectly balanced.  it took us a while to figure out which setting to use, but once it was done, all works like a charme. 
It might be helpful if the supplier can tel which setting to use for every size of pool. this will reduce a lot of headaches.

This has been a major game changer for my family in our above ground swimming pool. I am a minimalist and entering into my 'Crunchy Mom Era'. With the use of the ionizer we only have to put one chlorine tablet in a floating chlorine dispenser, and it lasts two weeks. It was tricky at first learning what levels and settings are best. Ever since we figured it out it is so simple. It runs, and we don't even have to think about it. The minimal we have to do to upkeep the pool is just vaccum and scoop out the occassional leaves and bugs. It is the BEST investment!

Low tox, easy upkeep

Easy to use and works as described.
Manual is short but contains all you need to know.
Main Acces - the manufacturer calls it an IONIZER.
Other descriptions call it a chlorine generator.
I added POOL SALT and let the ionizer got to work. You will need to have a way to measure the salt content in your pool.
MAIN ACCESS recommends 1000  ppm for the salt in the pool. However it does not give a maximum ppm.
I set the control at 3 and  it seems to do the job.
I have not had to add chlorine pills to the floater.
Easy to install.
I'm using it in an above ground pool of 2830 gallons.

OMG this was a Amazing price.
If you don't like a lot of chlorine in your pool then you need this ionization filter.
This replaces my old one of 12 years.

Great product at a great price.

I love this set up already! Install was a bit tricky but once in, it quickly got our pool ready for swimming without chemicals. We still have to balance the pH levels and check the copper frequently but I am very excited to be exposed to less chemicals for my kids this summer!

The installation procedures were all about chlorinated pools.  So I called the manufacturer to ask about using the ionizer with Bacquacil instead of a chlorinated pool.  They said it would not work with a Bacquacil pool. Nowhere on the site or the instructions does it say that or I would not have purchased.

Not compatible with Bacquacil pools
