I am a little over weight and getting older.  I need something sturdy so I won't fall when I get out of the pool.

First of all, I had to tweak it to make it work because we needed it to go in the water and attach to our deck but once installed it works great!! Especially, I like the graduated size of the steps and how they are smooth and wide enough for a sturdy step up or down!! We did not use the poles underneath! Highly recommend this product

Both experiences were great . I did not put this together yet because it is early March in Wisconsin, and nowhere to store it for the next three months until it can be used.

Great quality, awesome value price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok so, first thought on getting this in the mail was wow! Huge heavy box lol. Its insanely durable and I feel completely safe having my family using this for our pool this summer! Its not cheap looking like our previous ladder that didnt last.

Amazing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been looking for something for our dock on the lake to help the kids get out of the water instead of walking to the shore, I thought this may work even though it's made for an above ground pool. I was right! My husband put it together and set it up at the end of our dock and it looks great and is exactly what the kids needed. It's extremely well made and durable and of course we will remove it in the winter, but the value is great and I'm so happy we got this to use in the summer months! Would recommend!

Durable and looks nice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was exactly what I needed because I already had the inside steps. I would advise putting it together at poolside where you plan on putting it. Don't put tightly together until you get both the short side and the poles under it to level it off. The biggest problem I had was that first step from the very bottom is taller than the rest of the steps, which is harder if you have back or leg problems. I put a concrete cinder building block next to the bottom step for this issue. It takes a few minutes to figure out how to fix the ladder in the up position but know there are tracks on each side of the handrails and it will rest on the 2 outer lips when it's in the up position. You will need a padlock  for the metal loop lock fastener but I found a rubber wrapped key padlock for outside use in Walmart. 
All in all, I would purchase it again for the same price.

Just what I was looking for but steps on ladder VERY slick. Should have slip proof tape on them. I bought the tape at ACE Hardware and applied to each step. Ladder is too pricey and should sell for less than the steps that go into the pool. I found some st another dealer for $136 and ordered then a week later they said they were out of product. Hmmmm

Lack of info to connect to steps

I would have given it a 5 star if we didnt have so much trouble getting it installed in our pool.
The ladder is made very well, heavy duty. 
The problem we had is the ladder would float up and not stay on the pool floor. We ended up having to install weights to the legs for it to stay at the bottom of the pool.  
We had already built our deck and had to saw off part of the upper adjustable fittings so it would fit the pool at the right height.  
After doing some tweaking, the ladder has been fabulous.  Would recommend but be willing to do some ofyour own adjustments.
