Yes, I recommend. I should have bought 2! The pan worked flawlessly until I cooked mushrooms before allowing the pan to become non-stick. The damage was immediate and took re-oiling the pan and warming up the pan on a low setting. Once this process is completed and you oil after cooking, it will stop cooking. Cat

If I ever need an item for my kitchen the first word I type into the search engine is Mainstay. It is as good as the much higher prices of other cast iron skillets and even better than the Lodge I purchased thinking I was purchasing top of the line. Top of the line is Mainstay! If you need to make a purchase and Mainstay is available you will not be disappointed if you spend less money because I assure you that you will be satisfied!

Great cheap but useful skillet for under $9 after tax. Make sure to clean first then season again. Will take a dozen or so seasonings to feel satisfying to use. I use regular can of shortening to season it. Works great

I purchased this as my first cast iron skillet and I am not disappointed! I seasoned good before first use and have had 0 issues with food sticking or the pan rusting! I love it and it's definitely good quality! I would recommend to anyone starting out cooking in cast iron

This 10.5 inch, cast iron skillet is a great, high quality product for a great price!  Other brands and other sellers would gladly charge triple the price!  Thank you Wal-Mart!  And thank you Mainstay brand!!!!

Very nice, better than expected. Really heavy, washed it and began using it as soon as I returned home. Very good purchase for the price. Good quality and really non stick.  Would expect it to be pricey for the quality but it's really a great bargain for the quality %26 the nonstick feature.

I was gonna get the larger pan but it was out of stock but then I thought I'm getting older it's hard to lift if they're heavy however this is a nice size it'll do what I needed to do but the handle gets enormously hot and if you're old and you forget to grab it with a potholder you're in trouble. Too bad it didn't come with one of those silicone protective sleeves!!

This is a great size for cornbread. This is what I will use it for. It will heat evenly and at a high heat on the oven. I am excited about using this cast iron pan!

I like that it is pre-season ed. I fried eggs in my skillet they did not stock. I used Pam
I believe it will last throughout many years of cooking. I strongly reccomend this preseasoned skillet.

The food tastes great in it, or maybe this is just how I feel

the handle is very short for a heavy skillet. also the handle heats up very quickly. not exactly "non stick", i was cooking chicken with oil  and still had to scrape
