I purchased this mainly for cooking eggs. In a two story house this is used upstairs. We have a room where there is a small frig, a microwave and a hot plate. Now, we have added this. Saves many trips up and down the stairs. In case you don' t understand, we're both in our seventies.

I almost bought an electric skillet twice this price but because of the great reviews here plus some YouTube research I decided to give the is one a try. I bought it a couple of weeks ago and have used it everyday since. I've cooked omelets, pancakes, fried rice, fried chicken and made stir fry to name a few things. It has done very well with all of them. It has cooked evenly as far as I can tell. The lid fits snuggly on top to keep steam in if that is something you need to know…it was one of the deciding factors for me.

I really like this! It heats up fast and cooks food evenly, plus nothing sticks because of the ceramic surface. Cleaning it is super easy, which is great. The size is perfect for making meals, but the cord is a little short, so you have to use it near an outlet. Overall, it's a really handy skillet and great for quick cooking.

Great Quality and Perfect for Everyday Cooking!

I really like this skillet. It is a 12" and I really wanted a 10" but Walmart didn't have any available and I try to stick with them online if possible. This one was on sale, I didn't know the brand but figured if it were a real bummer I could return it. It is a good buy for the price but the main reason I am writing this is, for some reason, this round skillet, although 12" takes up less room than the 12" square ones that I have always used, is easier to maneuver and actually holds more pieces of chicken without having to squeeze them in. You actually can learn something new every day!!

This is a very good Electric Skillet, product, I highly recommend this Electric Skillet for everyone, this ES works fantastic, outstanding, for 1200 watts, especially for what I paid for, its extremely worth the asking price, I want to buy another one.

Outstanding, Electric Skillet!

Wow, what an improvement! This is the 2nd one of these pans that I purchased. The first one was 3.5 years ago, and it was the same price $20.00, which in itself is a GREAT buy! I used it daily for three years, but then I noticed that the bottom surface was getting small chips in it and I was leary of it being "safe" so I decided to buy another one because I truly loved the 1st one and for a pan that is used every day for 3.5 yrs I feel I got my moneys worth and decided to see if you still sold them. Low %26 behold you did so I ordered it, it was here in 2 days and WOW, you sure did upgrade the nonstick surface, it is awesome! 100% upgrade. I love this pan for so many reasons, it's convenient, it's super easy clean up, basically wipe it out and it's done!

This electric skillet is not only a bargain, but a joy to use. It's the perfect size for smaller families. The finish is slick, nothing sticks, nothing including scrambled eggs with no butter or oil used. The handles are in the right place so you can safely hold it while you stir the food.  But the feature that is the most amazing is the heating probe. It has a latch that you squeeze like a bike brake and it releases itself from the pan. No touching or holding the pan while you try to wiggle out the temperature probe.  It stays securely attached to the pan until you squeeze the latch and then it pushes itself out and disconnects. It's brilliant. I didn't realize I needed this feature until I got this skillet. I suggest Walmart make a larger size option for larger families. Best skillet ever.

Worth every penny and then some.

If you keep feed or sauce in the pan for extended time, may be 1 , 2 or 3 days; it will affect the coating of the pan. If will feel rough and bubbly over time and it will start to peel. i had 2 of them and both did the same, i bought a 3rd but also bought another brand from a competitor. Gave the competitor a chance and sent this item back without using it.

good for short term, NOT LONG term

Odd little electric skillet It does not turn off. You have to unplug it to turn it off. May be a safety feature...but the instant I plug it it it indicates its ready> keeping it because I know how to unplug stuff like that but worrisome.  Not for novice cooks.
