Fan's durability and build are compromised due to this aspect.

For $20, I wasn't expecting much out of this fan, but I'm happy to say I was wrong.  It took less than 10 minutes to assemble.  It has 3 speeds, rotates (ossicates ?) almost 180 degrees left to right or can be kept in a stationery position, and is whisper quiet.  I was so impressed that I went back a day later to get another one.

$20 bargain value for a fan

As a disabled and house bound person 24/7 this is the Best money I have spent and they are simply outstanding, it took me 2 minutes to put together from the box. My rental unit is a hot box and these fans made a world of difference to a person in need in only a matter of minutes. If you're looking for a fan that works Excellent look no further, these fans are a definite High Recommendation for anyone to Buy. Thankyou kindly Walmart.

Instant relief

My first Mainstay Floor Fan I bought was many years ago. The box came taped up as someone had returned it and when I put it together it looked like Frankenstein, the head was on a permanent tilt and I thought Here we go but when I plugged it in, not only did it work but it has lasted many many years now. So what if it couldn't oscillate, it's still the best fan. I haven't opened my second one yet because the first one is going strong but the legs have given out. So I Mcgivered it with a little tape and it's still doing its job. I have no doubt my second one will last even longer than this one!

Still The Best Fan Around!

I'm a fan of this fan. A fan fan if you will. My favorite part of fan is how it fans. My second favorite part is how it swivels. My third favorite part is the adjustable height of said fan. It all comes together forming some type of ingenious adjustable height swivel fan.

I'm a fan

This product I have been using since 2019, its worth the price
It stopped working in feb 2026 so I went and got new one, I installed the product but suddenly it started wobbling and when I checked fan was broken. So I replaced. Hope this last longer.

Product was defective but worth the price

Quality isn't great and many pieces were flawed/faulty. The nut over the fan blade was very crooked and the extender pole had an unfinished edge (making it larger than it should, we had to cut it). It does work once you've done minor fixes and it is cheap but it could definitely use more quality control.

Don't expect much of it

If I could rate it lower than one star I would. I assembled it and four of the legs broke off right away. I see in the reviews that this has been a problem for many. I am on a very strict budget and I had to go out and buy another fan that I couldn't afford. This is the cheapest piece of crap that I have ever bought.

Don't buy it!

i have bought 5 of these fans and 4 out off the 5 the legs broke off in less then a week 2 for them within minutes of putting them together and the last one i bought the legs atyed together but the motor in the fan died and is now worse then the ones that the legs broke on cheap useless fans.... DO NOT BUY!!!

worst fan ever!!!!

The legs are the problem. The cheap clips it goes into breaks without even force. I bought one before and the part where the rod that moves it higher and lower, doesn't stay in but decided to keep it due to the stronger fan that I had from another company. Decided to buy another one but this one had to return immediately as the leg stand broke immediately as I was putting it together. Bring back the other model you had as least the legs clips weren't cheap and could break like this one.

Legs break easily without any force

Disappointing.Stand used to be made of sturdy metal rods and screws, but now it's cheap plastic and has an unstable design that can't bear the weight of the upper part.Stand broke a day after purchase.Used to be a cheap yet reliable fan but not anymore:(
