I was very surprised and pleased with this fan once I pulled it out of the box.  I wasn't totally sure when deciding whether to purchase it or another model but was very glad once I got it and confirmed its greatness.  It's got so many great vents, grates and more that only add and enhance to its overall appeal.  I'm really loving having it, looking at it, using it and all that it has to offer.  It's very quiet, just about silent on all modes and blows pretty good air.  It's very easy to put together out of the box and you'll be up and running in no time.  All you need to know is that the main, white screw, on the bottom, is already on the machine so just unscrew it and follow the instructions.  The instructions state that it comes with the screw but it isn't in a package by itself, it's on the machine, probably to save space.  So, just be patient, do what I tell you and you'll have zero problems.  And you'll be enjoying this fan as much as I'm from day to day.

Perfect for circulating air in our room at night. Provides a great amount of white noise for sleeping, not too loud but loud enough to drown out road noise by our house. Our room tends to get a lot warmer than the rest of the house at night, and this has been helping so much to keep us cool!

Great Quality

Quiet fan for a reasonable price. Well made, relatively strong plastic. Note: rotation switch is completely independent of fan switch (unit will rotate with no air blowing if rotate button is pushed) This is not a problem for us and a small inconvenience given the low cost of this fan.

Quiet with good air flow

This is the best fan for cooling a mid size room. I've already purchased two and will definitely be purchasing another one. The different settings and the oscillating option provide a nice variety of cooling options. The fan is easy to assemble, clean, move and use. It's lightweight enough to move yet, very sturdy. Plus, you can't beat the value.

A must have fan!

Was honestly worried $40 for a fan wouldn't be worth it but was needing something that would come that day and bought it anyway. Totally worth the price. But it's short. You'll need a table or something for sure to put it on. It is a bit noisy but hasn't kept me awake.

Worth the price

It's perfect for me. I have it next to my desk and I like that the fan speeds are awesome. The speeds are not overpowering and not loud at all. My papers don't get blown off my desk. I really like that the osollating is not powered by the fan. It has it's own button. One thing though, when you turn the fan off it's still is osollating. Kind of freaked me out at first, but I'm alright... haha.

Definitely worth buying and at such a low price.

So far so good and love the breeze i am getting from this.  I feel like i'm on a tropical vacation with a cool breeze.

Sure throw down a sand box and serve me a fruity drink with an umbrella in it.

it was a lot easier to put together then that big overwhelming honey well fan i have to return.   i love honey well products but this is easier to handle.

I recommend this fan to seniors and people with disabilities.  Bigger is not always better.  This is big enough to handle because the honeywell tower is way too big and it didnt connect together.  

This may not have all the bells and whistles like the fancy fans.  It blows enough wind on 3 to keep me cool.

Wow i  Love it

I like it. The only thing is, when the fan is turned on and it's rotating, turning off the fan does not stop it from rotating. Many times I've turned off the fan and left the house only to return and find it still rotating with no air blowing. You have to remember to turn both off.

It's good for the price

Not very powerful ... you can hardly feel the air more than 4 feet away), while the oscillation (the turning) does not automatically stop when you switch the fan to "0" ("off" mode)

Another example of "you get what you still paid too much for" in this economy! Product looks new and modern but you wish it worked like your old product!

Weak and confusing power-off

Runs with a high pitch whine and does not move much air,  continues to oscillate when fan is turned off,  just stopped working after two months of occasional use.
