I installed four windows' worth of curtains last night, and these are the nicest budget curtain rods I have ever purchased. Very easy to install and sturdy enough. Good quality. Do not look cheap; in fact they really enhance the look of the room. Very very pleased. Excellent value.

For the price, these are excellent.  Yes, the end caps are plastic, and the wall brackets aren't the most robust.  But for $15 they are hard to beat.  Save $ on rods and get nicer curtains.

excellent for the price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The curtain rod was great.  However, I neglected to check the diameter of the rod and it was just a scant bit to large for what I needed it for. Had to return it.  But the return process was very simple.

Government gets caught on extended portion

Very lightweight and felt like they were going to break. In fact, I bought a silver one and the plastic end (the ball thing) did break. I had to glue it. The poles are some kind of metal but the ends are made from very cheap plastic. From now on will only buy these in the store where I can get a better sense of what they are made from.

Plastic parts

I needed nine curtain rods and bought these hoping the value was worth it.  It wasnt!  The plastic ball on each end falls off everytime I open the curtains and the piece that attempts to prevent them from falling broke on two of them and had to be glued.  Go ahead and save your money by ordering better ones because youll spend more in the long run trying to replace these.

You get what you pay for

material is plastic not metal. It does extend like it says for a longer door. It extends on both sides leaving a lip on each side. your curtains catch on each side. always pulling the rod off the hook. don't have screws to hold it in place so it's always falling off and onto the floor. it's not heavy because it's made out of plastic so it always falls off and goes flying across the room. I should have just paid more money got a heavier, better quality rod. We took it down donated it went to Lowe's and got a nice one. I paid $100 and got a good one.
