The pot heats evenly for regular cooking, such as boiling water, steaming, soups, and pasta, and it feels solid and not fragile. I appreciate that it doesn't retain stains or smells and is simple to clean. The lid fits properly, and the handles feel safe. It is an excellent piece of basic cookware to have in the kitchen. Unquestionably useful and worthwhile for regular use. Thank you so much mainstays and influenster. This is highly recommended.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This steamer pot is amazing. Very sturdy and functional. You can easily make rice at the bottom and steam veggies on top at the same time. I like the size - not too big, not too small. Perfect for a family dinner. I also like that the steamer part has a handle. The only thing is that the lid handle as well as steamer handle are metal so they are burning hot when opening. Make sure to use a mitt when touching it. I highly recommend as it's in daily use in my house.

The pan is large and spacious, making it great for steaming generous portions of food, and it does a great job cooking evenly. I especially like that the steamer insert has a handle, which makes it much easier to lift out. Keep in mind that the handle is metal, so it can get hot during use—using oven mitts is a must. Aside from that, it's a sturdy, well-made steaming pan that works really well.

Large and spacious

As the instructions mentioned the lid does get quite hot while cooking, but I won't blame the manufacturer for that as most pots are this way & something an oven mitt can be used for. It steams my veggies perfectly and easy to wash both by hand or dishwasher.

Great steaming pot

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I used the Mainstays steamer to warm some buns, and it worked great — they came out warm, fluffy, and evenly steamed. It's very easy to use (just add water, set your food, and go). For everyday tasks like steaming veggies, dumplings, or reheating buns, it works reliably. It's not heavy-duty, but the build quality is 
solid enough for regular kitchen use.

Before that, I didn't expect it's quality will be great. But once I received it, this is one of best choices.

Worth to buy it

Seams really nicely constructed well made and solid. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I only used it once, and I rarely give 5 stars.

Mainstays pans. Great quality for inexpensive pric

It is so roomy if you are steaming a large serving of vegetables compared to traditional vegetable steamers. The quality is decent for the price and compares to my more expensive Lagostina stainless steel cookware. I like that it is stainless steel as well. Good value

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We tried this steamer for the past month or so and it has made a big difference in our kitchen setup. First off, we noticed the taste of steamed vegetables was better than boiling from frozen. So we definitely gravitate towards the steamer more now. 
Although the design of this steamer was a bit flawed. There is no rubberizing on the handles or top so you need to use an over mitt to lift the lid and then shake the veggies out. This makes it very awkward to handle without burning yourself. The stainless steel is nice to look at and cleans up well, but not as practical as our other pots and pans.

Damaged. Upon opening, found 2 inch crack at lip of stainless steel. Returned pot & could not find another one in store.
