I bought this cutlery set before reading the reviews and ratings, needless to say after reading them I became extremely nervous about the quality of these. When I received them I was surprised, they are not thin as the people in the reviews have made them seem. They are quite average I'd say, light, not heavy. They absolutely do not bend unless you force them to like you're competing in a spoon bending competition, they absolutely do not taste like metal or anything for that fact. They are very high quality for the price and stainless steel. They aren't just good for a person in college or a person with low income I am a mother of 2 toddlers and they can even use the smaller spoons and forks from this with ease, they're great for daily family use and they're simple yet fancy I'd personally serve dinner with these when company comes around. Highly recommend.

i love this set and the price was great. Nice design on silverwear, came in the drawer case, I ordered the serving for 8, perfect for what I needed. Not disappointed at all.

it is so nice to have a matched service for 8 instead of the mixture I had.  had my family of 5 for a few days, flatwear was in the dishwasher every night, came out just like new.

great value

I purchased these when moving to a new home. They are quite sturdy and do what they were designed to do. I like simple in design and these fit the bill. No frills. The price was great! I intend to get a heavier smoother set in the future, but for now, these work perfectly well. I would recommend these to anyone, especially those on a tight budget.

This is a simple party purposeful set. Quality is good. The number of pieces make it very handy in home gatherings.

Party purpose

I thought that the silverware was nice for the price.  They looked great.  I am glad that I bought them.  I had bought inexpensive sets before, and they looked cheap.  These look good with my porcelain dishes.

Cheap but Nice

I would say this is not as thick as I thought they would be. I ordered these as extra for our thanksgiving meal.

Reasonable

Decent, cheap server set for the RV.  For 10 bucks you get alot of pieces, and I prefer them to the ones with the plastic handles (the kind that food can get crammed up into).  We typically use plastic cutlery and disposable plates/bowls etc., but for steaks, chicken on the bone, etc, you really need a "real" metal utensil.  I still serve on disposable plates though, so I love the fact that if a fork or spoon accidentally gets tossed with the paper plate you're only paying 20 cents per piece, so it's not a huge deal.  Good job Walmart, good job... makes up for the questionable air matress you sold me lol.

Great RV set or everyday set of flatware

These are very rough. Don't buy. Even the handles are rough. They're handles curve backwards, so when you're holding the flatware, you're going to scrape your fingers on the rough edges.  I can't believe that they actually sell this. Seems unsafe....
