I bought this fryer a couple months ago.this morning I had a squirrel in my kitchen which I proceeded to shoot with a crossbow being a little bit of over kill on such a small critter it traveled through the animal directly into the fryer. Luckily the material of the fryer was substantial enough to stop the crossbow bolt before puncturing the Inner oil basket leaving the appliance perfectly functional

Works well only problem I have with mine is the basket actually sits on the bottom unevenly having to adjusting the portions I can put it

Some wire melted through plastic at the back of the control module, as shown in the pic attached.
Fryer had blown the circuit breaker a few times too. After seeing this melting it was most likely due to poor circuitry within this deep fryer's control panel.
