This 13 gal kitchen trash can is a cost effective way to have motion sense access, which is very handy when you hands are full. It looks good, works well and is very easy to put into use. One point of thought is to make sure you have a 4 AA batteries for it. I ordered a pack of 8 with my purchase.

Purchased this trash can because our other trash can lid broke - (different brand and type). It was time to upgrade anyway, as we had the prior trash can for at least 4 years. This trash can is perfect! The automatic lid, is a luxury! It was easy to set up and works like a charm! 

Sometimes the lid stays in the upright position and does not go back down, but it’s not a big deal - I just wave my hand over the sensor and it shuts. Easy! :) very pleased with this product/purchase.

Looks very sleek, pop batteries in it and it works well! The garbage fills to the top and doesn’t waste much space within the trash bag which I like! It’s super easy to get used to and a great option if you’re looking for affordable! Very easy to clean as well!

Would highly recommend!

Awesome can! I got the black color because i put it in a pull out drawer. But the can is very well built for the price and it uses 4-AA batteries. It flops up fast and it has 3 blue led lights that count down for the closing. When I put it in the drawer it does open when I close the drawer so I have to leave the drawer open alittle for the sensor I suppose. Uses any 13 gallon bags and I seem to fill up the bags more with this can then my previous can. Prevent bugs too! Highly recommended!

Nice cans they have

I had another brand of this type of trashcan with the automatic lid and it finally broke after just about a year it was expensive! I saw this one on Walmart site and decided to give it a try I like the all black look of it and the lid works flawlessly it's completely silent and opens every time. I like that it has them on and off switch if you want to use it manually.

Highly recommend!

We are now completely spoiled by this automatic trash can!  Excellent size for the kitchen.  It is so nice to have it open automatically to throw items away without touching the lid.  Works perfectly.  The price was excellent, the black exterior is sleek and is easy to clean.  It has even foiled our clever Springer Spaniel from rummaging through the garbage.   Highly recommended!!

Outstanding automatic trash can!!!!

This trash can has been a great addition to my kitchen. The motion sensor works reliably, opening the lid quickly with just a wave of the hand, which is especially helpful when cooking or cleaning up. The 13.2-gallon capacity is perfect for everyday household use, and the sleek black design looks nice in the kitchen. Easy to use, helps keep things sanitary, and offers excellent value for the price.

Convenient and Hands-Free Trash Can

I'm a little on the cheap side, so I was excited to see that Walmart had an automatic opening kitchen can. I actually like this more than the stainless steel kind because it shows less smudges, etc., and just sort of disappears. I felt like the king of the trash can for one month, and then it just stopped working. I was very careful with it at all times. I swapped out the batteries, but no go. I'm going to replace it and hopefully buy an extended warranty because I do go to Walmart quite often, and I'll be getting a new can every couple of months or so! I believe the warranty cost $6 and lasted three years.

Works great for a month

I gave it a low review because it didn’t work. I purchased it for my new condo and I was super excited to use it. I added the batteries and it did not work. Unfortunately I did have to return it. It is very nice. I would have loved to use it, but it didn’t work for me. The lights didn’t show up. The sensor was not on. It did not work out.

THIS ITEM DOES NIT WORK WE ORDERED IT AND THE BATTERIES AT THE SAME TIME WE HAVE TRIED TO USE IT BUT IT DOES NOT WORK AND WE WANT OUR MONEY BACK A NEW PROM CODE BECAUSE WE WASTED THE ONE WE HAD WITH THIS ORDER ...
