Diy-ed it to be a backpack "locker" station for this upcoming school year since I'll have 1 in TK and 1 in 1st grade and I didn't want to have EVERYTHING from school land on the dinner table every day after school. Look's like it'll work to hold backpacks, jackets, and bins for paperwork etc...

This unit is the most sturdy I have put together in many years.  I have recently moved and have put together many, many items like this recently.  It is really sturdy and looks great.  It uses actual screws and nails.  The directions were easy to understand and follow.  This was a great purchase!

Sturdy and easy to assemble.

it was incredibly easy to put together. it would feel more sturdy if i connected it to the wall but honestly holds up fine since i dont pull on it. one of the cheaper storage unit options so feel the price is comparable though maybe slightly over priced (isnt everything though?)

I am so happy with this purchase. I got two and stacked them on one another. Will be ordering two more. The one photo shows the before and after.

The cube storage came super speedy and was very easy to put together. The hardware and all the parts are included all you really need is some open space and a Phillips head screwdriver to put together. I did it by myself in my dorm cause I was not bouta pay that assembly price. Keep in mind this product is particle board so it's not as sturdy as wood, but it still works perfectly fine and can hold a good amount of weight! But I bought this to use as a purse organizer cause I needed a 3rd set of cubbies, I use my other 2 for my wardrobe (lil drawers for my clothes) and I've never had any issues! Overall 5 stars and would indeed recommend for easy simple storage solutions.

My go to storage solution!

Before ordering this organizer, I spent quite a bit of time comparing similar 9-cube organizers from different retailers. I wanted something that was affordable but also had a warm walnut finish to match the boho aesthetic I'm creating in my office. After comparing several options, this one offered the best value and was exactly the color I was looking for.
I'm so glad I chose this organizer. Assembly was incredibly easy—my 7-year-old even helped me put it together! The instructions were some of the clearest and most organized furniture instructions I've ever used, making the whole process simple from start to finish.
I also really appreciated the back panel design. Years ago, I bought a different cube organizer that required attaching the back panels with dozens of small nails. It was frustrating because the nails would sometimes bend or accidentally come through the side panels, leaving visible damage. This organizer uses plastic locking clips instead, so the back panels simply snap securely into place. It made assembly much easier and eliminated the worry of damaging the finish.
The quality exceeded my expectations, especially considering the price. Once assembled, it feels sturdy, looks much more expensive than it is, and the warm walnut finish is beautiful. I paired it with 10.5-inch fabric storage cubes, and they fit perfectly.
I love how versatile it is. It works great for books, office supplies, décor, and storage baskets while still looking stylish enough for an office, living room, bedroom, or closet. It completely transformed the look of my workspace.
For the price, I honestly think this organizer is an excellent value. I would absolutely purchase it again, and I'm already considering buying another one for my closet. Highly recommended!

Excellent Quality, Easy Assembly, and Great Value

Love Mainstays as a brand — affordable and always stylish, fits my aesthetic perfectly. This cube shelf is no exception. I love that you can customize with different colored bins to personalize it exactly how you want. Great value and looks great in the room.

Let me save you time. To build this with only 1 person, lay the top and sides near each other, then put the screws in so the top and sides stay together. Then add the center pieces on the row, then add the next shelf (C), put it in place then screw it in again. 

Other than learning how to build this the hard way, it's worth the money.

I thought I was following directions when assembling.  I was putting the layers together vertically. Please assemble horizontally to avoid everything collapsing when pushing the long boards onto the pegs.  now that 2 middle pieces are broken, I actually have one layer that has no dividers. I like it better this way, but you might not.

caution while assembling

This is not a good value. Assembling it is a nightmare, because some of the holes where the dowels go are drilled too deeply, so the dowels go too deeply in one side of the structure. And most of what's holding it together is the dowels. Added to that, they're thin plastic dowels, and they aren't snug in the wood. Instead of nails for the back, there are little plastic pieces that just push in to pre-drilled holes, so they're not firmly attached, either. And the picture--all of the pictures--show this with 4 bins, so it seemed like they'd be included, but they're aren't. It's cheap, flimsy, and just a waste of money and space, but I've gotten it assembled, now, so I can't really return it. The most I can do is warn others not to waste their money.
