Rim Design

Has a wide grip that fits multiple fingers.

Compact enough for easy handling and functionality.

Made with high-quality materials and craftsmanship.

I love the simplicity and classic style of these mainstay Alexandra 14 ounce solid matte black stoneware mugs. I bought them to use for coffee for when my niece comes over to visit so we can have coffee together. I even use herbal teas in them as well they're great for your hot liquids and help keep them warm. I like the Large Handle on the large capacity of the mug because I'm not someone who wants to drink a tiny mug of tea or coffee. I usually don't have multiple drinks at once of them, I just have one big one in that suffices. I love that there are a classic style that can go with anything and happen to go with the black dining plates and black silverware I purchased. I love that color for how it just compliments things itself because when you put colored food on the black plates that just pops and it looks very pleasing into the eye and I think these coffee mugs and matte black are a very nice addition to that dishware. I'm very pleased with the design and the cost was very efficient and yes, I would recommend them to others, especially people like me who happen to be very drawn to the color black which I absolutely love.

Love these matte black mugs for both coffee or tea

walmart.com

I like the full handle, it fits my 4 fingers perfectly instead of the usual 2 or 3 which is uncomfortable sometimes. Good color choice so even after using it doesn't look bad

Great Mug

5 Star

A solid, minimalist coffee cup - yes ! To hold as I read the news online . A New Years gift to me .

THE MATTE FINISH ON THIS MUG IS BEAUTIFUL. AND IT'S THE PERFECT SIZE FOR YOUR FAVORITE COFFEE, ICE CREAM OR CEREAL.

Good mug for coffee or tea. Holds a lot of liquid. Thick construction. I have owned it for a few months now and haven't had any issues.

Good

Glazing is inconsistent with some cups having visible runs and ripples, but they are quite affordable.

Glazing not great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I could buy the same mug from Dollar General for a bit cheaper.

I unwrapped 3, perfect! we love them!

Opened the 4th; no handle! completely broke off. The others were wrapped much better in brown webbing paper. this had much less wrapping and it's thin and white. You can clearly see how much difference there is between the 2 colors.

If they send a new replacement mug, 5 stars. btw they are WIDE at the top; full 4". My regular lids don't fit, so know that before purchasing.

Otherwise they feel sturdy, look great, and hold a healthy dose of my beloved caffeine!!

I ordered 3 packs of mugs for gifts. I received 12 loose non boxed mugs. The description says packs of mugs not just mugs. Not easy to present these as a gift when they are a box of loose mugs.

Misrepresentation

Mainstays Alessandra Matte Black Stoneware Mug, 14.4oz front-facing matte black stoneware coffee mug with C-shaped handle and cylindrical silhouette, holds 14.4 oz, dishwasher safe and microwave safe (may get hot in microwave); often used as a small utensil or pencil holder.
