These dishes were surprisingly nice considering the price point.
The color is true too the description and they are microwavable and dishwasher safe.

These are REALLY nice plates for 12$ !!
I really needed a set of matching plates for dinner guests and was able to get these shipped for free the same day! Nice edge on the sides and feel nice and heavy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After a lifetime of a mobile lifestyle in small boats, RVs and camping where I used nothing but light plastic camping plates I am considering a huge step up to stoneware for my retirement home's kitchen. There is a lot to be said for the unbreakable plastic plates and bowls - practical light weight designs with high lips and simple to wash. I decided to try out one very affordable Mainstays bowl and plate. One thing I know I'll like is the way these can be heated a bit and then keep a meal warmer than plastic would. The heft of stoneware is something I may or may not decide I like.  So at just two for 5 dollars I can try out a couple of these attractive dishes. I like the shape of their bowl and I like the raised vertical outer lip of stoneware plates vs. the usual boring slope towards the center of most plates. Can't go wrong when they are two for 5 bucks and I may go ahead and buy a setting for four if I like using these.

Nicely made and really low priced

well I really wanted some black plates so I ordered these. they are beautiful but I need to say that they are kinda heavy because they are glass! not any heavier than any other glass plate so I do recommend especially that being said. gonna get another set..... right now. later I will try some in hard plastic. it's just hard to serve company on plastic, so I'm totally keeping these

Sturdy nothing Extraordinary

I have to say even at the extremely low price I was disappointed in this plate. At first it looks very nice and feels solid and roomy but the very first time I used it to eat something out of with a fork and knife the black finish on it had scratches all through it making me think that whatever the black coating was it wound up in my food! . Anyways I won't be eating food out of it anymore and I do not recommend it.
