I purchased this dinnerware set after having used just the cheap plastic plates and bowls for the last several years and I am so excited to have this set replace them. The color is nice and the weight and feel is great. As others have mentioned the lip of the edges keep things on the plate well, although for me I'm still getting used to it there especially when holding to hand wash. Then again I'm getting used to finally having a decent set of regular dishes again period! Highly recommend these.

Nice set for great price

I love the saucers and plates. They are heavy and substantial. The rim design is brilliant!! Perfect dinnerware for the likes of spaghetti; fettuccini alfredo, enchiladas, etc. . Because the rims are raised I never spill anything as I eat every where but at my dining room table haha. The bowls are genetically designed, and get very very hot in the microwave. If they sold these in other colors (black, green, grey, red, orange, etc) they would sell like hotcakes. Excellent value for the money. Just added a third set to my cart.

Very smart design - anti spill

Oh my goodness I am obsessed with this set. It's a thick glass and the design is wonderful. My food looks beautiful on these plates and it helps a lot with the edges because it's rounded and your food doesn't fall off when trying to scrape food up

Just wish that came in other colors. Nice to be able to buy the set and then buy some individual plates and bowls at a reasonable price to make a table setting for six.

I was very surprised at the quality of these plates and dishes.  The bowls are actually big enough and deep enough to have a nice bowl of soup and the plates with the little lip on the edge, really helps to keep the food contained on the plate.

I like these and white is a great plate for laying out a great plated meal.

I love these dishes. The raised edge keeps gravy and sauces where they belong, and they're sturdy enough for real life — not break‑proof, but also not ‘iPhone falls an inch and immediately gives up' fragile. They've handled the microwave like champs, and while I don't have a dishwasher to test that part, I'm assuming they won't explode the second they meet a wash cycle. And for under $25 for a service for four at the time of writing, that's pretty hard to beat these days

Surprisingly Sturdy and Super Affordable

This is an excellent dish set. It has what we wanted and needed. All of the other sets came with coffee cups and sometimes saucers, which we don't want or need. 
The quality is very good too. I like the edges on the plates. They help with scooping your food onto your fork or spoon. 
They all stack up really well. 
I recommend this set.

Very nice dinner dishes

I absolutely love this set. That's why I ordered 2 of them and stayed someone. The store or whoever brought it to me literally replaced it with a set that is nothing like the set that I ordered. I wanted the blue trim, they sit inside each other. 2 of them would have worked perfect, but they brought me something totally different. Flat plates Little bowls didn't go into the set at all. I'm extremely upset. They don't sit together in my cabinet. They don't I mean, white would have been great if if they would have only gotten it the same.  Style, I would been okay with that, but to I only got one of these and I love this item, but I am not happy with the other 1 they replaced it with.I wanted two of these sets

I bought this set for my sister in Hawaii for her to pick up at the Hilo store, and had  a chance to use it myself when I visited a week ago.  Very nice set, just wish that matching coffee cups were available.

Classy looking every day tableware set

The finish on the bottom of each piece is excessively rough and will absolutely scratch glass, marble, metal or wood surfaces, meaning you have to be prepared with coasters or placemats for everyone each time they are used.  Very disappointing, since I really do like the design.
