i needed these larger dinner spoons for company and all the food we make throughout the day for people that come in, the edges are just perfect and does not hurt your mouth - the weight is perfect - not heavy and very sturdy - there is the right bend for eating and the sturdiness not to bend if used for anything else other than eating such as digging in the dirt for a weed or plant

I finally found these spoons to match my knives and forks. They must be popular since they hadn't been in the store(s).
I like the smooth design, no grooves for anything to get stuck in.

the person who shopped my item picked up the wrong spoon size. i wanted the shorter as described in the sales listing. i can always use spoons. I've started the breck and wish to finish the set. 
   these flatware are superior to others i had bought previous.

These were to be temporary while I waited on my storage silver to be delivered.  Surprised at the quality for basic flatware.  I've used for a few weeks, the only thing is that one spoon bends more than the others.  Weak at neck

I bought it for cat feeding and wouldn't use it for dinner. We have dinner spoons that are stronger steel, more curved, and larger and wouldn't use these Mainstays spoons for anything but to break up the cat's pate. Great deal for what it was needed for!! Just a little more particular about what we eat and cook with, and this spoon doesn't fit the need. If you need a spoon to scoop with, etc, this is not exactly the best spoon.. but it is affordable, and I wouldn't look it over if you're struggling for a purchase or needing it for a craft of some sort!!

Specific Usages; Flat

I liked the design but not the edges. Instead of being rounded on edge you can feel the sharpness of the edge. Which is a flat edge. Not good.  And i didn't like that at all. A little more depth in spoon's well is needed too.

I needed bigger spoons, and these are a great size. However, they aren't finished properly; there are several spots on both the handle and the bowl that are uncomfortable, and others that are sharp. I'll probably keep one set and finish it down, but I'll return the set that is scuffed up.

The spoons are better than plastic, but they are cheap substitutes for good stainless steel tableware. I needed some cheap spoons so they fit my purpose just fine.

Cheap,  shiny, metal spoons

if you haaaate spoons with sharp edges, you'll want to pass on these. Very painful to use. I tested one out one time and threw them directly into the trash. Hurt the corners of my mouth and felt horrible in my hand. if you love sharp spoons, you'll love these. Seems like decent quality if you can get past the pain.
