SO much better than my last can opener. I barely need to apply pressure for it to cut right through the can lid. My last one I felt like I needed to be a professional arm wrestler in order to open a can.

I like how you can open canned food like vegetables and it is very cheap and efficient. It's a lot better having this to use especially if you buy canned food or get canned food like at a store or food pantry. The best food pantry in America is the one in Florida at our lady of grace Catholic Church in Beverly Hills Florida and they don't care if you are poor or rich because they give food to anyone who wants it.

I was contemplating on getting an electric opener after struggling with my cheapo opener, but after reading those reviews, I said....nahhh. Folks complain about stuff being splashed everywhere, etc. So, this was my next choice. I chose correctly this time! This sucker cuts so smooth, it's probably better than any electric device. You can tell by the handle and the cut that it's well made. It should last a long time (as long as we take care of it well). It's a tad big for my hands, but I have small hands! It's smooth and sturdy. Definitely worth the money. Don't struggle from cheapskate-tivitis, like me with my previous purchase. Buy this one - it'll be the only one you need for a long time.

This one opens cans really well compared to my worn out can opener. Large handles to grip and the large  easy to turn knob. Feels like a solid piece of equipment when you hold it. Best simple handheld can opener I have used. Probably should buy several more to keep on hand.

I love this can opener it's probably the best I've ever had and much better than the electric one I bought! Cuts cans open with so much ease. Smooth cuts.

Great can opener. It's a little bigger, heavy duty and it's stainless so I can put it in the dishwasher if I need to. Also has the rubber over the stainless handle.

Such a reasonably priced high quality item I bought a second one for a neighbor. Highly recommended as not rusting, very robust in size and strength and easy to use.

Just. Do. It.

It SUCKS so bad. You have to manhandle it and turn it very slowly just to have a chance that it actually remains clamped on the lid. This leads to a lid that's not all the way removed, and that miiiiiight have led to a small explosion of tomato sauce in my kitchen when I gave up on the lid and tried to force the sauce out.

Just spend more money the first time and get you something that will hopefully last for years instead.

Nearly impossible to get a clean cut of the lid

Its complete garbage! I got it this morning and it didnt work well at all. Wouldn't even open half a can. As bad as dollar tree openers! DO NOT BUY THIS! It has weight and seems sturdy, but it doesnt work.

Would give zero stars if I could. I know it's only $5, but save your money and get something else. I've purchased this exact can opener twice now and it has yet to successfully open a can. Each time I've used it, it's broken instantly.
