I worked hard to find potholders that would be thick enough, but not difficult to use like silicone is. I searched for hours over the internet/Amazon, but couldn't find ones that were rated any good. Went to Wally World and, viola. Easy Peasy. Perfect thickness, pliable, and effective against heat. I would buy a patterned version, even if I didn't need anymore potholders!

The only 5-star potholder I could find

This Mainstays basic potholder is perfection. It's size, shape, material works in every situation. The humble opinion of this old lady, is just, well, you just don't need any other version of a potholder in your kitchen. 
But every once in a while you do need to do a kitchen linens refresh. My advice, grab a few of these in Teal. They deliver a nice, subtle punch of a light, glam blue. The color is so fresh, and looks great with anything, everything. I've left a stack of three in teal on the counter next to my stove.

I recommend Mainstays potholders. 2 per package. Walmart please design some spring colors. Bright turquoise blue. Bright Orange with yellow. Potholders with popping colours. Even if you have up the price.  Easy to use. They protect your hands when removing hot pans or dish from the oven. Easy to use.

Mainstays Potholders Great price .

Really like these potholders for color, price, size (these are larger than so many being offered) and heat protection. Since this was a recent purchase, I cannot speak to durability but have no reason to believe they won't last for several years. Very pleased and would recommend.

These potholders were an excellent choice!

These were thicker and heavier than I was use to, which is a good thing.  GREAT value so I tripled my order to have more matching or holders as I wear one out.

It's hard to find cotton potholders nowadays. These are thick to protect yet bend for a good grasp on the hot pot. The construction, price and value are superb! Thank you, Mainstays!!! These are a necessary mainstay in my kitchen.

Excellent functional cotton potholders

I picked these up on discount as a clearance or sale item. The color choice was limited so I ended up with red but I'm very happy with the pot holders. They're slightly larger than I expected and I'm very happy about that because I have very large hands.

Surprised by Quality and Vlaue

Very well made. Great for use with the oven or I also put them on my table when I serve hot foods. Works great and looks nice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The potholders are a little slippery on one side and their shape, a rectangle, is not as efficient as a square potholder.

Color matches what's in the photo and work like they should. I haven't had them long so overall durability has yet to be determined. Size is good also not to big and not to small. Only downside was that I washed before using them and the seam on the edge came undone other than they are a bargain.

Decent purchase.

These are a nice size, but they get damaged far too easily.    Also, they put stickers on each pot holder, and no matter how carefully you remove the sticker, it snags badly.  After one use, the damage got even worse.  Not worth it.
