The Mainstays Drapery Window Curtain Rod was easy to install, feels sturdy, and looks clean and simple on the window. It holds my curtains well without bending and blends nicely with the room décor. Definitely a good, affordable option.

Curtain rod

After installing the rod, I realized it doesn't have a center support bracket???? 
Why make a rod extend to 84" without having a center support bracket? It was sagging before I even put the curtains on.
If I had known, I would have purchased a more expensive set.

Missing Bracket

This curtain rod extends to 84 inches but will not hold up anything more than a light sheer curtain. We put on room darkening curtains and it bows 1 1/2 inches in the center.  This could be alleviated with a center support bracket, but unfortunately they do not give you one in the 42-84 inch rod set.  Even with the curtains pushed to either side the rod, it still bows an inch in the middle!  This is not something we could determine before hanging it and now that there are holes in the wall, I don't really want to change it. I'm not sure how long it will last before collapsing in the center.
