I bought 24 chairs as we host people every year. The back rests in several of the chairs have popped out the very first time using them making them unusable. 5 chairs of the 24 are already broken and who knows how long the others will last with use. If looking for long term use better off going with other option

Issues not worth the price

Bought 4 of these chairs.  Worked out perfect.  Comfortable and would recommend.  Loved how the staff brought them out to my vehicle.  Didn't have to do anything.  I've forgotten the staff member's name but thank you to her.  Not the first pick up at the MJ location.  Excellent staff.

Folding Chairs

These chairs are excellent for the price, and good all around. Check that the legs have the little pads on them, as they sometimes disappear during shipping, and you must either replace them yourself, or return the chair in its entirety... but you can buy repllacements easily enough.

Solid choice

I had 5 chairs of these from years ago just bought 4 more for a party we're having and these are very comfortable. Better than the plastic ones. The cushion is great

Great comfy folding chairs

Walmart Mainstay similar to Costco Star Elite but just a bit lower construction quality in fabric and metal. The Mainstay chair is lighter due to a lighter steel construction, and the fabric is slightly courser compared to the herringbone pattern of the Star Elite. There is more foam padding in the seat and backing in the Star Elite than the Mainstay brand. The Mainstay chair braces are shorter than the Star Elite. We ordered 10 chairs from Walmart and received wrapped in twos. 3 chairs were missing end caps for the legs. To be fair I think this may be a shipping & stock issue. Current pricing of $22 per chair is the same. Conclusion, for value and construction, the Walmart Mainstay is a 3.5-star (thin foam) compared to the Costco Star Elite chair (5-stars). We will return the Mainstay chairs that had no end caps for refunds.

We purchased 12 chairs to augment seating for our music academy in-house student concerts. No problem removing the seat labels. Each chair was wrapped in plastic. Cushion comfort was reasonable and seat size good for adults. No damage to chairs and delivery was 2 days early!

Reasonable quality and affordable

Pictures were really good the only issue was one of the chairs had to stick around it that would not come off and it took me over an hour to get the sticker and the adhesive off the chair

Nice chairs but one of them had a sticker on the fabric that just wouldn't come off.
We worked on getting it off for more than an hour to the point where a hole was starting to form where the stickiest part was. The adhesive was very strong. Maybe just a hanging tag would be better walmart.

Nice chairs but.....

The chair is fine for the price. But, whoever stuck the produce label on the cloth seat didn't seem to understand that the glue may leave some residue  after removal. I will keep the chair but am annoyed about the glue that cannot be removed.

I got this, took it out, sat down in it, and in less than an hour, the bottom left side of the backrest broke. (the bottom metal part, behind the fabric, broke from the frame). After that, the backrest would get pushed behind the chair through the frame while sitting. Didn't feel like bothering with a return, so I used duct tape on the left half of  the backrest. I wouldn't recommend.

Don't bother.
