it's an LED light I haven't seen a bulb in it so if it burns out I think you throw away the entire thing keep that in mind Outlet when you plug in the light you can plug in your phone charger into the light instead of having a USB it's got a full on Outlet the base is pretty cool it's a little tray to put stuff on I guess.

walmart.com

Was looking for an inexpensive desk light for a relative staying with us for an extended stay. I would order it again. It has an outlet on the side of the base so something else can be plugged in as well. It has a simple off/on switch with an LED light diffused by the cover.

Desk lamp works well

It's great I was looking for a small lamp for my bedside and it was exactly what I wanted and was looking for it's not to big and not too small it is a little brighter than I thought it would be but it's fine and the price is great

I truly love this lamp!!! Technology has changed so much even in simple lamps that I wasn't sure if I would like this or not since it does not have a bulb that you can actually change. I needed a nice reading lamp that I could move about and adjust the angle as needed. This fits that need very well. The brightness is perfect and will work well for reading at night without having to light up the entire room. This would also work well for any type of crafting since you can angle it right onto the area you need some light on. The turn knob is easy to turn on and off and would work well for anyone with arthritis or limited hand strength. In one respect I do like that there is no bulb to change since bulbs tend to go out at the the worst times. As long as this lasts somewhat close to the amount of time they state in the description I will be very happy. I love the style, the size and the weight of this lamp and the low price was a definite plus. I also love that there are 2 USB ports on the back to use for charging other things. The only negative thing I can think of now about this lamp is that with no bulb to change, when it's done, it's done and that means another item to go into the trash or the landfill... not so happy about that part.

Great Lamp At A Great Price!

This lamp is impressive, as it comes with a built in LED where it doesn't require any light bulb. This significantly helps on expense. And the light quality that it puts out is higher quality than expected. A nice warm light and excellent throw. This is a great deal on a quality desk lamp.

Quality desk lamp with bright built in LED emitter

Like another reviewer mentioned, many LED lights have a blueish tone that is irritating to me, but this one has a more yellowish tone that I like better. I taped a circle of thick printer paper over the bulb to mellow the light even more. For the price it's fine, but I would pay more for one with a dimmer control and heavier base.

Not bad

I will use all four lamps for computer work and makeup application in both my homes. I suffer with AMD, so I need good lighting. My complaint is it does not appear that I can replace a bulb should the original fail.

My Mainstays LED Desk Lamp with Catch-All Base %26 AC Outlet, Matte Black is orange or yellow color when you turn the lamp on. All the other reviews with pictures show the light is white.
I really like the lamp but its not bright at all. ITS YELLOW AND ORANGE LOOKING.

Yellow hue

The quality of these lamps has definitely gone down hill. For the price it can't be beat but I've had these same style lamps i would say since 2019. The earlier models gave you about 2-3 worth before they went out. I bought the latest one in August and it only lasted a month legit before going out. I may consider an additional purchase just based off it being good quality in the past but this unit was a dud

The button on the top of the light is nonfunctional. The lamp has to be unplugged to turn it off. The strength of the light cannot be adjusted. It still works as a lamp for reading, but works more like a lamp from 1926 than 2026. Unfortunately, this is common failing with simple lamps currently available for purchase.
