Magnet Strength

Struggle to hold moderate weights securely.

Setup takes only a minute or two with magnetic pieces.

Can be snug, but also loose on certain doors.

This little darlin is so handy..No drilling No measuring just hang the curtains like a pro.And it stays in place.Just the handiest thing

Neat Product

I needed curtain rods for my doors but didnt want to drill holes in the doors. These magnetic curtain rods have very strong magnets so they don't move. They are barely noticeable which I like too.

Perfect for the job.

The one I just bought 22 Jun 2021 says on it "50%Stronger Hold". I have it on a steel door that gets frequently used and it has stayed in place 100%.

The curtain on it is very light so that may be a factor that helps too.

Sticks Great!

It does a perfect job on a metal door.
It's discreet, functional, compact and quite pretty. Certainly worth having.

Metal door curtain rod

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was easy to install it only took a minute or two to setup, It is very durable and nice looking, I love the magnetic pieces so you can put it anywhere that it sticks to, it not very expensive, and you can adjust it to what size you need, great idea for easy upgrade around the house.

Easy to use and looks great

Mainstays Magnetic Rod

I bought this item to hold a very light sheer (also from Walmart) onto a metal door. The magnets come with sticky tape on the magnet (that should have been my clue that they do not hold on their own) but even with the tape they do not hold. Each time the door closes they slip and allow the curtain too sag, after a few closings they just fall off.

Magnets far too weak

The magnets often drop, it's tanning for that...

The curtain rod in the picture must've been photo shopped. I'm not even sure I received the right one? Anyway, the magnets are way too weak and the rod is flimsy. No, I would not recommend.

I was gipped

This was a perfect size but as soon as you add any weight, even a sheer it falls. The magnets are not strong enough.

Disappointing

Mainstays Magnetic Window Curtain Rod 16-28" - White Front-facing view of a white 7/16 in. diameter magnetic café-style rod, adjustable 16–28 in (41–71 cm), mounted on a steel window frame; ideal for lightweight café curtains and often used to hang kitchen towels or string lights.
