This tong is one of my favourite cooking tool as it  provides  me with second set of handsThis mainstays  27 cm tong  definitely performs  these tasks, grabs, lifts, flips and serves. I love the locking mechanism ,quick push and pull on. It has a classy design with black plastic trim and silicone trim on the handle to keep it cool to touch. I just love this. I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion.

Perfect for everyday cooking

I was in the market for a new pair of tongs, as my other ones have started to rust and become tedious to clean so I got a chance to test these out and I'm sold. These are a great price and works like a charm. I highly recommend and I will be sure to purchase a few more for different uses around the kitchen. All you need in a pair of tongs

The product is good with firm handles and nice silicone tongs. I wanted to try it because silicone tongs are to be used when cooking things in an air fryer and this one is perfect. The size is good, it is easy to use and works well with high temperatures too. Will definitely recommend it to my friends and family. I discovered the main stays silicon tongue while I was shopping for a kitchen utensils. The product is so lightweight and great quality to use. I recommended for anyone who likes to cook and wants an easy utensil to use. One thing I don't like about it is that it was hard to find in store. Nevertheless, it's great ! Great product for every day kitchen use

I have several tongs in my kitchen drawer, but I don't have a pair that has a silicone handle and/or nylon grippers.  This was an extremely simple to use utenstil.  I used them so far to:   remove crispy chicken filets from my air fryer, spaghetti from my dutch pot, toss salad and eggs in my frying pan.   The nylon was useful for not scratching my pots too!  This utensil certainly does  the "trick" without any difficulty.  I also like that these tongs are a little shorter than what I am used to which makes gripping my food a little easier.  My only criticism is the stainless steel portion.  I like that they are stainless steel, but it extremely thin and flimsy.  All in all, these are a worthwhile inexpensive kitchen tool that the everyday cook should have in their kitchen drawer. Does the "trick".

I tried these tongs from Walmart as they were the most affordable available, and they work pretty great for the price. It's a smaller tong which I prefer since my grip is weak and I find it hard to operate large and heavy tongs. The material is not silicone but nylon so I would be hesitant to use it for very hot food like boiling pasta, but I think it should be suitable for most everyday uses around the kitchen. Affordable tongs

The tong is good for its price range. I would consider buying it if I was on a budget because it is good for the purpose it serves. It's light and grip wise it is tight enough so you don't drop whatever it is you are holding with the tong. I also like how it has the thing at the end of the tong where one can just pull it to close after usage and before putting it away in the drawer so it isn't just open and takes up space or where it may even scratch your hand when reaching for it. Overall a good quality tong even though it may seem flimsy it actually gets the job done.  I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion.

TO TONG OR NOT TO TONG

Material looks like plastic, don't use it for cooking/ barbeque. While they might be fine for serving salads or tossing pasta, I wouldn't trust them for anything that requires high heat or serious cooking. 
Size/length wise, it is pretty small for adults, but kids can easily handle. 
Overall, this tongs seems more suited for light use rather than heavy-duty cooking tasks.  I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion.

Not for cooking

This Mainstays Multi-purpose Tongs works well and is a good length for many various uses. It has a sleek design and could be easily handwashed. However, it would have been a lot more convenient if the material was dishwasher safe so that we could toss it in there too rack. However we still enjoyed using it esp when we're hosting meals at our place over the holidays.  I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion.

Works well

I always use kitchen tongs when I cook. I usually I'm looking for sturdy and long lasting ones so I can use it for a long time on a variety of tasks. I bought the Mainstays Multi-purpose Tongs of 27 cm thinking it would do the job perfectly fine at a fraction of the cost. Although they are perfectly usable like any other kitchen tongs I doubt they can last really long. They are cheaply made and are not sturdy at all. The ustensile barely holds itself together and I feel like I could just pull them apart just by pulling the handle a little too fast. If you need a cheap kitchen tongs on the go it might be for you but if you are searching for something that would last longer go for another one.  I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion.
