Durability

Measures 27 cm in length, suitable for multiple tasks.

Can be sturdy and durable, but also prone to flimsy construction.

Offers secure handling with textured surface.

Suitable for various types of salads and leafy greens.

Features a comfortable grip for various kitchen tasks.

I recently tried the Mainstays Silicone Tongs, a versatile kitchen tool designed for a range of cooking needs. With a comfortable grip and silicone tips, these tongs are great for use with non-stick cookware, as they prevent scratches. My first impression was that the design is simple but practical, featuring a lock mechanism for easy storage—definitely a convenient addition in a busy kitchen.

In my experience, these tongs proved to be reliable for various cooking tasks, from flipping pancakes to serving salads. The silicone tips provide a secure grip without being overly stiff, allowing for gentle handling of delicate foods like fish. I also found that they hold up well to heat, which is a big advantage when cooking on the stovetop, as they remained cool to the touch and retained their shape.

I would recommend the Mainstays Silicone Tongs to anyone looking for a durable, multi-purpose kitchen tool that is gentle on cookware. These tongs are ideal for both beginners and seasoned cooks who need reliable utensils for everyday cooking tasks. They might not be the best choice for those who need extra-long tongs for grilling, but for general kitchen use, they're a fantastic option.

I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion.

Very helpful everyday cooking tongs

Shopper Army

Very useful toung. that I didn't have before and I love this one then I have before this is very useful for multiple purposes and good size as well in fair price. ,I bought it at Walmart and it catch the food strongly no sharp to cut the hand while catching the handle .so overall good quality I recommend this. I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion.

Easy to use

These tongs are multi purpose. Can be used for so many things!! Especially because of the 27 cm length. So easy to fit in big and little hands and so easy to grip. The lock in place pull up tab makes them really easy to hang after use or when the table is full of utensils on a busy dinner table. They can be used to serve salad, pasta, casseroles even turn bacon after microwaving. My grand daughter enjoyed sorting pom poms with it this evening. I highly recommend these tongs to cooks, parents and even educators with their little ones. I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion.

Lots of Uses!!

Recently tried the tongs from mainstays.
This product brand is only available at walmart.
Quality is good.
Very practical to use and to place it in the drawer will not take too much space as you can close it and can easily store it.
Used the product while cooking a steak it.
You can clean it easily and you can use it for multiple things in the kitchen like for salads as well. I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion.

Mainstays tongs

These Manstays Multi-Purpose tongs are a great size. I wouldn't call them mini tongs, but they're shorter than the other 'full size' tongs that we own. I actually prefer them over the tongs we have with a longer handle. The tongs open and close as well as lock in place easily. They are great for using during baking/cooking, anything really. Not too bad to clean though a bit difficult to get in behind the ridges of the inside of the handles, but that's common with most tongs. I'd recommend these. I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion.

Good size

The Mainstays tongs are perfect for helping me cook safely! They have a nice handle for holding and they are very easy to clean. I like that you can lift the button up and they stay closed for easy storage. They are great for grabbing food easily and have a helpful scalloped edge on the ends of the tong. I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion.

Good set of tongs

This tong is one of my favourite cooking tool as it provides me with second set of handsThis mainstays 27 cm tong definitely performs these tasks, grabs, lifts, flips and serves. I love the locking mechanism ,quick push and pull on. It has a classy design with black plastic trim and silicone trim on the handle to keep it cool to touch. I just love this. I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion.

Very useful kitchen tool

These are a nice little set of tongs. They are good quality for the price. They are a nice size, so they don't take a lot of extra room in the drawer. Easy to use and easy to clean. The end piece moves to keep the tongs held together or allow them to separate to be used. Will be handy to take along for serving at potlucks. I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion.

Good Tongs

The Mainstays 27 cm Multi-Purpose Tongs are lightweight, easy to handle, and have a convenient top lock for simple storage. I have found them versatile for tasks like serving salads, stirring, and handling items in the oven. They're ideal for non-stick cookware as the plastic won't scratch, though they do need some care around high heat to avoid damage.

Overall, these tongs are practical and affordable, perfect for everyday kitchen tasks. I'd recommend them to anyone needing a reliable, compact tool, though frequent high-heat cooks might prefer metal.
I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion.

Practical and affordable tongs

This Mainstays Multi-purpose Tongs works well and is a good length for many various uses. It has a sleek design and could be easily handwashed. However, it would have been a lot more convenient if the material was dishwasher safe so that we could toss it in there too rack. However we still enjoyed using it esp when we're hosting meals at our place over the holidays. I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion.

Works well

I always use kitchen tongs when I cook. I usually I'm looking for sturdy and long lasting ones so I can use it for a long time on a variety of tasks. I bought the Mainstays Multi-purpose Tongs of 27 cm thinking it would do the job perfectly fine at a fraction of the cost. Although they are perfectly usable like any other kitchen tongs I doubt they can last really long. They are cheaply made and are not sturdy at all. The ustensile barely holds itself together and I feel like I could just pull them apart just by pulling the handle a little too fast. If you need a cheap kitchen tongs on the go it might be for you but if you are searching for something that would last longer go for another one. I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion.

Cheap tongs that may not last long

Mainstays Multi-purpose Tongs 27 cm (27 cm / 10.6 in) black nylon head with stainless-steel handle and molded anti-slip grip, centered front-facing view showing full length. Kitchen tool suitable for serving, grilling and often used for turning food or serving salad.
