Didn't use this for shoes at all! Instead I used it as a terrarium for my isopods and they love it! The built it ventilation is perfect for them!

I did a lot of research on these. For the size these were the most reasonably priced. I tried amazon, target, the container store, ect…. These also come with a lid which most didn't.  I used them for toys in my child's room and clothes in my room

I will definitely buy more for displaying and keeping collectibles dust-free. Much easier to dust this box than whatever I'm displaying, especially when it come to fabric or fibers. Using mine to display my wedding shoEd. This would be great for displaying your favorite vintage collectible stuffed toy, fiber art, fabric clothed doll or action figure, and shoes. I'm very pleased and give it 5 stars.

Wonderfully Clear and Durable!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband works in a chemical plant and has to wear work boots. Those boots get covered in all kind of substances and I don't like them in the house. They fit perfectly into this clear box so he can see where they are, but the dog can't lick the powders off of them. The box does have air holes on each of the longer sides so it has some ventilation. No worrying about the shoes just sitting in the box getting smelly. I do wish the lid clicked into place rather than just sitting on top, but that's my only con.

Great for dirty work boots

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an extra big clear shoe box and storage container for boots, shoes, slippers, sandals and high heels. It will hold a lot if you want to put several pairs in there. The material that it is made of is stronger than other boxes I've had and they just cracked easily but this one doesn't seem like it would. I love the lid too, just the way it fits into the box is very nice. I think it is stackable too which is a nice feature. I like it so much that I just may have to order some online, that way I won't have to go into the store during the pandemic, it is so convenient buying online isn't it? Anyways, I would definitely recommend this nice shoe box to friends and family.

Great Big Shoe Box Storage Container

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The box is sturdy, but I wish the lid was a little more secure when put on the box. Will easily fit a pair of women's boots or a few pairs of flats or sneakers. I am using mine for craft items though.

Sturdy shoe box

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The mainstays clear x-tall box is just that. I can easily fit 2 pair of shoes in one box. This will be a tremendous help in organizing my closet. The clear design makes it easy to see what is in the box and I will be able to stack the boxes with like pairs of shoes. There are some air vent holes on one side to prevent moisture buildup, but keep dust out at the same time. The only minus is the lid does not "snap" in place, but acts more like an insert.

Plenty of room for 2 pair of shoes

The plastic is thick and heavy so that is nice. The lid just sits on top ,it does not click in or seal .The description says it is  8.25" tall and it's actually barely 8" tall , so some of my items won't fit. Some of the lids came cracked. I used it to put my dvd's and some playstation games in to keep them from getting dusty.

Decent storage

They put a bicycle lock chain I also ordered inside the plastic box during shipping which broke 2 of the 3 I ordered. On top of that they did not send the lids for any of the 3 boxes that are included with the purchase. I will never order these to be shipped to me again I will only order for store pickup so I can swap out broken ones or get my lids before I leave.
