The material is strong and well-mad, and it handles water flow without any issue. We've been using it regularly and are very satisfied with it performance. It doesn't kink easily and stays in place during use. It makes not a big noise.

Great backwash hose

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the mainstays heavy-duty backward hose 1.5 in x 100 ft and I'm very satisfied. The hose is thick, sturdy, and doesn't kink during use, so the water flow is strong and stable. The 100 ft length is very convenient, easily draining water away from the pool area without needing extensions. 

The material is durable, withstrands sun and rain well, and you can tell it's a “heavy-duty” type, not thin like cheaper ones. It fits perfectly with a 1.5 inch pump head, so there are no leaks.

The price is reasonable for the quality, and it's definitely worth buying if you need to drain or clean your pool. I will continue to support them!

It is really strong, great as for underground so for in ground pools. It is very strong so it prevents any breaks or bursts even in commercial pools. It is very flexible. So it is very easy to set up it and storage. It doesn't take a lot space. Very light weighted.

I am looking the durability and functionality of this hose sooo much better than the thin rubber one we had. This one is like cloth and was compatible with our above ground pool pump making it so much easier to drain the pool. Works so much better.

Reliable durability and excellent reach

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the most confusing and randomly ambiguous product I've ever received on here. I was looking forward to getting a more durable backwash hose for my pool and upon opening realized not only are there no instructions for installation anywhere included but ALSO there is a REQUIRED stainless steel clamp necessary to even install!!! Something that was not mentioned ANYWHERE before confirming this order?! It's just two loose fabric ends at both sides, and does not look “heavy duty” whatsoever. Nor does it feel that way. In the picture online it looked impenetrable when in real life the ends on both sides arrived already fraying!
