i am not into the whole.airfryer thing. Things just dont turn out as crispy as i want them to... so, this is a traditional, REAL fryer. I use peanut oil in it, because it doesn't burn like other oils do. It is on the smaller size, which works great for myself and maybe a couple, but a family with kids would probably want a bigger one, if you dont want to fry in badges... 
At first i was confused about it not havin an on/off switch, however, the power cord is magnetic and can be unplugged really easy, so that part doesn't bother me at all anymore.
I'm very satisfied with this litte fryer and would recommend it.

I have bought at least four of these. I've repeatedly bought these for a gift for my grandmother, for my husband to have while he's on assignment in a hotel, for my house and for my son's first apartment. These last a long time, easy to clean, cook very well! Doesn't take a lot of space and lightweight.

Kitchen must have!!!

This fryer is really good if you just intend to use it for one or two people. It gets to 375 degrees in about 10 minutes. I can fit four pieces of frozen chicken tenders, side of fries, and it tastes the same as eating from a fast food restaurant. cleaning is fine. I just wait about 3 hours for it to cool down and put it in a glass jar to reuse. Clean off as much as i can with napkins or paper towels, then I pour water into it and let it sit for a while so any crumb or residue are softened and can come off easier when scrubed off. 
Really good for making your own chicken wings, especially during covid where some bar, wing, restaurant places are closed or have inflated price too high

Best bang for your buck fryer

Firstly, it is small in size, but it holds enough French fries to fry, in 2-3 times it can be fried for a whole family, it is easy to operate and quickly cooks. Secondly, it is very easy to assemble and clean, it is very convenient, I disassembled everything in parts and quickly washed it, good quality.

Convenient and compact fryer

It gets the work done, but it's smaller than I expected, and according to the instruction, to prevent any over spilling, you need to only fill the basket halfway. and it's a really small basket. so if you are planning to use this for a family, then it's probably better to get something bigger. but overall, it's good enough for me (single person), and it heats up pretty nice and quick. is good but

STOP! Read the 1-star reviews. They aren't lying. I too got burned, the basket fell off the rim and when I got back from the emergency room and tried again, it overflowed. The top is a joke; the rim is tin foil. I didn't expect a Cuisinart but Farberware should grind their name off the unit.

A suppurating chest wound, waiting to happen.

The first time you use this you should fill the oil to below the minimum level. It will boil over and cause a fire hazard. I had oil all over my counter and kitchen floor. The photo is the level the 2nd time I used it. I was cooking homemade french fries. I recommend you buy something else.

Fire Hazard

Use the fryer a handful of times gave no sign of any problems, for no reason for no signs of anything wrong, tried to turn it on, nothing like it has no power. Just so happens soon as the warranty runs out it dies, seems to me it was planned when they made it just the last so long like most Walmart products.

After 90 days it dies

This is an accident waiting to happen. I wouldn't even give it 1 star, but wouldn't let me leave the review without at least 1. So note my real review is a 0! 
The lip that is suppose to support the basket for the fries, onion rings, etc, to be able to drain the extra oil has nothing to hang on to.  The lip is so shallow that I had it fall back into the hot oil on three different occasions. After that I literally held onto the basket for a few seconds till I could see the oil quit dripping.  Shook the basket a little into the fryer and proceeded to dump out my fries into a dish.  Not a good item for teens to use who like to fry their foods.  I have a larger fryer and the hook goes completely over the side of the fryer securing the basket. THIS ONE DOES NOT BEWARE!!!! I wanted a smaller one for single portions for myself. I guess I'll stick to the larger fryer. Picture shows how shallow the lip is to the hook. It barely is holding onto the basket.

Accident WAITING to HAPPEN

I liked the looks of it but it di not work! It only heated up slightly, oil never heated over 120d. Not hot enough to fry anything in and I waited 1 hr for it to keep heating up more but did not. Very disappointed.  Returned it for refund!

Beware, can't heat up to fry!
