Bought 3 of these last summer and returned all 3. Each one worked for a short while using solar charge, but then refused to start up unless plugged into the demo button on the box. Bought another one for my son to wire a plug to so I can just plug it in when I'm outside. I've had dollar store solar lights last longer than this $30 glowbe

Don't Buy

When they work, they're beautiful.  But that's “when” they work. They're temperamental, and there is zero support from Mainstays thus far. It's a shame.

No Technical Support

Bought this item a couple months ago thinking as a solar light it would come on at night and charge during the day. I couldn't be more wrong. The lights never go off unless they go dead. They run all day unless you can somehow get hem to turn off with the remote. If you don't turn them off when you actually want them at night they run about 15-30 minutes as there is no  charge because they ran all day. Maybe I was wrong in assuming an advertised solar light came on at night and off during the day. But beware of this product. Sadly I didn't keep the bill so stuck with them.

I bought 1/2 a dozen of these. They worked in the store with the "try me" button. Got them home, put them outside, set them all up in a place that gets minimum 8 hours of direct sun daily and they worked for about 5 minutes and haven't worked since. They suck!! Taking them back
