Sturdiness

I had it special. It works very well for my needs. The size is such as the description. c is perfect for light curtains and it fits well.

works well

Excellent for 32 inch opening with light fabric panels. Will probably bend and sag when using it at 48in and heavy cloth panels. Rod is thin but pretty much doubled up at 32 inches

Good for Light Cloth Panels

Cery small

This thing is so small it was lost in the big box it was packaged in. It's exactly what I needed to hang a curtain without incurring costs with property management. Adjusted easily, small fingerprint, sturdy.

The little rod that could

Feels pretty delicate and lightweight. Not strong enough for heavy curtains — they started sagging after a few days. Only suitable for very light curtains.

I bought this a couple of weeks ago and it's already broken. Can barley support 2 curtain panels . Not good for kid areas. Not sturdy. Very flimsy. Would recommend getting one of the thicker tension rods . Unless you're using it to only hang one curtain and don't plan on ever touching that area then it would work fine.

Already broken .

A 4 year old kid can bend this rod in half. don't bother buying this if you have anyone possible grabbing a curtain. You can yank this off the wall with no effort at all.

DONT. JUST DON'T

It says that the product should fit between 28-48 but when I received it it didnt fit my window at all. I mesured it and at it's full lenght it fits a window max 28in. Wrong product information

DO NOT BUY THIS IF YOUR WINDOW IS WIDER THAN 28IN

Alas, i din't see the reviews before buying. I could manage with the poor quality, but the spec is also very wrong... the length of the rod is not adjustable much and will not fit a window longer than ~30 inch.

Real garbage

Just purchased , didnt extend to described length, maybe half of it. $ thrown out in the garbage along with the item. I had to give it 1 star, as there was no 0.

Garbage

Mainstays Stafford Spring Tension Pewter Curtain Rod centered, front-facing 7/16” diameter pewter-finish metal tension rod mounted inside a window casing; adjustable length to fit various window widths, non-slip non-scratch rubber end caps, slim cylindrical silhouette for lightweight curtains and small windows, installs without tools, often used as a temporary hanging solution for lightweight room dividers or string lights.
